AFRICA REGION
Fri 1. Johnkessly – Kaduna, Nigeria
Thank God for reopening the door of ministry in schools. During visits to seven Bible clubs and five life-skills clubs, he ministered to over 1,600 children and youth. God brought 344 of them into the family of faith and 373 others rededicated their lives to the Lord.
Sat 2. Worldlink US
Pray today at the US Board meets; for God to be glorified as we praise Him for who He is and what He has done, seek Him for wisdom as we respond to opportunities, and ask Him for His strength to pursue with passion the path He has laid before us.
Sun 3. Emmanuel – Borno, Nigeria
Organized a conference for Maiduguri Zone with over 2,000 students in attendance. Thank God for about 500 participants who made decisions for Christ. Overseeing such a huge number of particpants was very challenging but the Lord gave grace to overcome all. Pray for effective follow-up of new believers.
Mon 4. Romain – Congo DR
Please pray for security in East Congo. Many Christians have abandoned their homes and churches and are just wandering about. Apparently, the Internally Displaced Camps are not safe either so living there is not a better option. The war here has been going on for over 25 years.
Tue 5. Morrison – Sokoto, Nigeria
Campus Life Outreach, a campus evangelistic program that aimed to bring the gospel to the campus community, involves activities such as mission outreach and evangelism seminars. This was done in Sokoto State Polytechnic with about 60 students in attendance. Thank God for eight people who came to faith in Christ.
Wed 6. Hellen & Wycliffe – Kenya
Pray for missionaries we have trained who are preparing to relocate to Somalia in the first quarter of 2022. Pray for their preparation and that the Lord would meet their needs and launch fruitful ministry.
Thu 7. Daniel – Adamawa Nigeria
Thank God for successful project 10:10 based on John 10:10, a week-long evangelistic outreach to Modibbo Adama University in Yola. Also, for successful retreat conducted for first-year students of Federal Polytechnic Mubi. Of the 27 new students who participated in the seminar, two received the Lord as their savior.
Fri 8. Anastancia – Mozambique
She is settling down in her new field and currently focusing on taking prayer walks round the area and attempting to make friends. Pray for open doors of effective ministry and God’s protection.
Sat 9. Tivakudze – Zimbabwe
Conducted mid-year conference on Zoom and WhatsApp due to increase in Covid incidences in the country. There were 150 students in attendance. Also, with two mentees, he conducted Bible study training for 40 students from 7 campuses. They were commissioned to lead Bible studies in their respective campuses. Pray for effective ministry.
Sun 10. Hannah & Philip – Ghana
Hannah and their son David were both unwell in August. Thank God for healing them. Pray for strength and wisdom for the team. Thank God for the openness of the people to the gospel message and in particular, for the opportunity to regularly engage in gospel conversations with the men. Pray for fruit to accompany these dialogues.
Mon 11. Irmiya – Nasarawa, Nigeria
During visits to three schools, he shared the gospel message with 1,832 children. He also conducted a life-skills seminar in a local church and facilitated two conferences. Thank God for 110 new believers and five others who rededicated their lives to the Lord.
Tue 12. Sali & Delphine - Cameroun
The team organized a spiritual retreat of prayer and fasting with people from neighboring villages invited to participate. In the evening the Jesus film was shown and about 100 souls were won to the Lord Jesus Christ on that day. Please pray that these new believers may stand firm in their new-found faith.
Wed 13. Abolaji – Plateau, Nigeria
We faced the challenge of COVID during the quarter which led to the closure of our office for two weeks. Some activities were also cancelled due to insecurity and incessant kidnappings on our highways. Thank God for his protection and safety during our many journeys.
Thu 14. Misanelle - Congo Brazzaville
Due to COVID, many school programs have been put on hold. However, they were able to organize small evangelism groups in schools and on college campuses. The groups meet for Bible study twice a week and carry out evangelistic outreach among their peers every Saturday. Thank God for about 120 students who have come to faith in the Lord during these outreaches.
Fri 15. Elijah – Zamfara, Nigeria
He led 450 students from different campuses on this year’s annual life outreach to their communities. The students engaged their peers in one-on-one evangelism, distributed gospel tracts, and carried out some social activities such as campus sanitation. Thank God for 26 students who responded to Christ during this program.
Sat 16. Phumlani – South Africa
I continue with WhatsApp daily devotion for all teachers who are coordinating ministry in their schools. I also share creative ways in which they can minister to their students now that students are not allowed to meet in groups within the school compound due to COVID. Pray for God’s blessings on these efforts in ministry.
Sun 17. Shina – Plateau, Nigeria
Along with 61 students and senior friends, they visited an Internally Displaced People’s (IDP) camp, shared the gospel with the people, and distributed some goods such as clothes, food, toiletries, etc. They also platted women’s hair and carried out sanitation in the camp.
A widow has been in the camp for eight years and caring for six 4–10-year-old orphans. She was extremely grateful for their visit and gifts. She indicated that only a few of the many NGOs working in the camp care enough to visit or give assistance to those in the Christian part of the camp. Please pray for such women/people who have lived for many years outside their homes and some who find themselves with increased responsibility.
ASIA REGION
Mon 18. Sundaram – India
Despite COVID, Sunday meetings continue to be held in the village. All church members along with some pastors went on gospel tracts distribution in nearby villages. Thank God for many who received the tracts. Pray that they may respond to the message contained in the tracts.
Tue 19. Reang – India
Has continued to share the gospel message in local villages. Thank God for open doors of ministry and pray that fruit may attend their faithful ministry.
Wed 20. Benjamin – Pakistan
Apart from Accounts and Administration, my main ministry, I have opportunities, while visiting with field staff, to share God’s word with children. In the past quarter, I shared the good news with 85 children. I thank the Lord for seven of them who received Jesus Christ as their savior.
Thu 21. Rejoy - India
Due to increase in COVID, we reverted to conducting our meetings solely on Zoom. This includes Bible studies, worship service, Sunday school, etc. A month earlier, our team, “Shalom Gospel Ministries,” conducted open air preaching in various places. Thank God for the opportunity to share the gospel with many people.
Fri 22. Amumacha – India
I am an evangelist serving among the Meitei and Chothe tribes in Manipur. This quarter more than 400 people heard the Gospel through our ministry. Thank God for about 20 people who came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and three people who openly declared their faith through baptism.
Sat 23. Bismat – Pakistan
Visited a few churches to promote Bible reading and some schools to minister in their Bible clubs. He also participated in leading short-term Vacation Bible School and ministered to children during visits to families to distribute Bible reading guides. Thank God for these ministry opportunities and for a few children who have come to faith in the Lord.
Sun 24. Surjo – India
In the last quarter, more than 80 people heard the gospel as we engage in street preaching and personal evangelism. Please pray for effective follow-up of those who have shown interest in our message and especially some who have even turned up at our church meetings.
Mon 25. Suresh – India
Thank God for four students who were recently baptized and five others from our church who surrendered their lives to the Lord during the youth Camp in Karang. Thank God also for Moirangjaobi’s experience of salvation which brought total change to her life. She now leads ministry to teens and children in the Church.
Tue 26. Dhruba – Nepal
Please pray that the Lord will lead me to 2,000 people in the next three months so I can share Good News of Jesus Christ with them.
Wed 27. Sangjonbou – India
I serve as a dorm parent in the children’s home for orphaned, abandoned, and abused kids. We share God’s word with them daily and counsel them. Thank God for the impact of the Word of God on their lives. It is so exiting to observe their growth in the Lord.
Thu 28. Timothy & Rosaline – Sri Lanka
We conducted a special prayer session for the nation on YouTube. During the program, we encouraged the children to pray for our motherland. We had a blessed time together and thank the Lord because He answers prayers.
Fri 29. Dinesh – India
God gave us the opportunity to reach out to the people in two villages despite the COVID situation. Thank God for 15 new believers who have started coming to church. Pray for their steady growth as we continue to disciple them.
Sat 30. Anonymous – East Asia
In spite of the COVID pandemic, the gospel of salvation is still being conveyed to all including Muslims and idol worshippers. PA has preached the gospel throughout all 69 villages in BY Tribe using audio‐visual or illustrated stories. Thank God for some responses that has led to a few baptisms.
Sun 31. Manish – India
Thank God for His intervention in the life of Nehu, a 14-year-old girl from a Hindu background. She was oppressed by an evil spirit but was delivered after we prayed for her. She now regularly participates in church activities and is full of the joy in Christ.
