AFRICA REGION

Mon 1. Peter – South Sudan

Thank God for helping us re-establish our activities in four locations where ministry had collapsed due to many years of war in our country. We also have fruitful ongoing evangelism activities in Bible clubs. Thank the Lord for 340 children and teens who came to faith in Christ during the quarter.

Tue 2. Sola – Benue, Nigeria

Thank God for healing his 7-month-old daughter after 12-day sojourn in the hospital running temperature. The family continues to face security challenges. Pray for safety and peace of heart. Neighborhood Bible clubs have increased to three with 51 children in regular attendance. Ministry in Primary schools are getting difficult. Thank God for the opportunity to reach the children through the neighborhood clubs.

Wed 3. Richard – Congo DR

I experienced some health issues towards the end of September. My health took a downturn, and I spent a week in the hospital. My blood sugar has not yet returned to normal. Pray for complete healing. We organized five Bible camps for youth and leaders. From the few reports received, 201 youth and children came to faith in Christ. Praise the Lord.

Thu 4. Nestor – Congo DR

The latest class of 22 girls completed their training and apprenticeship at Bamatu Centre. They all were spending their fourth year in the workshop as they work to raise enough funds to own their sewing machines. Only six of them were able to meet the target. They went home with their sewing machines to start their own businesses. The money they paid will be used to buy six new machines for other trainees. Thank God for the progress the centre is making and its impact in the lives of the girls.

Fri 5. Lucas – Zanzibar, Tanzania

Thank God for 950 children who graduated from the 12-lesson Great Journey Bible course. Achieving that in Zanzibar is God’s own doing. Thank God also for opening the door of ministry in Makunduchi. There is no church in this town, but the team received approval from the Area District leader to give Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes to 160 children in a school. There was no room to preach or even prayer, part of the challenge of ministering in a predominantly Islamic area. Pray that God’s Spirit may do His work in the lives of the children who have received this gift.

Sat 6. Dennis – Uganda

Since last year, he has been coordinating the teaching of biblical values online. Currently four classes are running. In the last quarter, they looked at the value of Truth and Forgiveness. About 186 children and teens participated in this each week. Thank God for the opportunity to engage children and teens in God’s word.

Sun 7. David – Congo DR

Organized Bible Camps in Matadi and Inga in September. After the evangelism lessons in the Matadi camp, the young people went out to share the good news of Jesus Christ with people in the city and challenged them to meet with God every day through Bible meditation. Thank God for over 50 people who heard their message. Pray that the word they heard may impact their lives.

AFRICA REGION

Wed 10. Nonpumelelo – Eswatini

All 14 teachers and volunteers who went through extensive evangelism and discipleship training were recently commissioned to share the gospel message with children in schools, churches, and neighborhoods. Please pray that they may use their training to extend God’s kingdom among the children in their areas.

Thu 11. Sylvain – Congo DR

In partnership with two local churches, he conducted training for primary school and Sunday school teachers. The primary school teachers were equipped first to have their personal Bible meditation and then help their students do the same. He continues to minister to about 100 children who meet weekly in five Bible/Life-Skills clubs. Thank God for eight of them who received the Lord as their Savior during the quarter.

Fri 12. Ezechias – Rwanda

Despite the Covid-19 lockdown measures that limit evangelistic meetings, we have found ways to continue to reach children and young people with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We broadcast gospel programs on the radio on Sunday morning and evening. No less than 50,000 children and young people listen to the messages. Thank God for these ministry opportunities.

Sat 13. Patrick – Uganda

In our mission to touch people in the corporate world, God opened the door to conduct training in leadership and self-management for 150 management staff of Buganda Broadcasting TV. The station often gives our ministry free airtime to share the gospel message. Two weeks after, we conducted the same training for 210 business professionals. Thank God for the opportunity to minister to these top executives.

Sun 14. Marie – Congo DR

A week after she lost her father, her mother also died of cardiac arrest. Please pray for God’s comfort for the family. She facilitated some training programs: for young people in a local church, online for directors and local committee members, and trade training for some vulnerable women.

Mon 15. Sunday & Priscilla Joseph – Nigeria

They recently lost their 3-year-old son after a time of intense ministry and spiritual battle in the field. Village ministry in many parts of the world is direct combat with the powers of darkness. Pray that God may raise for them spiritual backup to support them in prayer. Thank God for one of those who spiritually opposed them and was arrested by the Lord and confessed Christ as Lord and Savior.

AMERICAS REGION

Tue 16. Byron – Guatemala

Wed 17. Mildred – Guatemala

She and a team of volunteers prepared some materials for children who were ill with Covid-19 in a temporary hospital near Escuintla. ASIA REGION

Thu 18. Dhruba – Nepal

Devika and her daughter have followed Christ for over five years. Her son visits the church occasionally but has little interest in the Lord. Her husband, Deepak, a drunkard, has always avoided the Christian fellowship. Devika and the whole church have for many years faithfully prayed for Deepak. Deepak recently showed up in the church and promised to henceforth join the fellowship every Saturday. His visit is no doubt, an answer to our prayers. Please pray that he will not only continue to visit but will soon kneel at the cross of Christ and accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

Fri 19. Surjo – India

Organized 4-day Youth camp on Karang island. During the program, 18 teens surrendered their lives to the Lord and 15 of them were baptized. Thank God for these teens and pray that they may be well grounded in the faith. One of these, Miss Echan, has from childhood been oppressed by the devil. She was fully delivered during the camp and is now an active witness for the Lord.

Sat 20. Abjith – India

We prayed for Lambeti for a while and thank God for finally drawing her to Himself recently. Thank God also for the family of Sangetha which also came to faith in the Lord, pandemic restrictions notwithstanding. Pray that the Lord may keep them strong in the faith. Pray also for us, that the Lord may bless our family with children.

Sun 21. Charles – Pakistan

Was involved in the planning and execution of school and hostel missions, conducted a Sunday school teachers’ training in Karachi and a short-term Vacation Bible School. He ministered to about 830 people during the quarter. Thank God for healing his wife when she suffered a minor brain hemorrhage.

Mon 22. Bechelal – India

Thank God for the salvation of a young man, Ankit Kumar and a lady, Seema. Pray for their steady growth in faith. Thank God for Asha’s miraculous deliverance from the attack of evil spirits. Pray for grace to continue to share the gospel message boldly.

Tue 23. Anonymous – East Asia

Thank God for the progress two new believers Mr. GN and Mr. UD are making in their discipleship class. We have faced several obstacles as we do this, but the Lord has helped us to overcome them all. Thank God that these men are determined to know more about God. Pray for our twice a month local leaders’ class which seeks to equip people to both make disciples and lead house churches.

Wed 24. Banivashti – India

The miraculous healing that Kanthi experienced led her to accept Jesus as her savior, and through her, the entire family has turned to the Lord. Pray that her whole village may turn to the Lord as Kanthi witnesses to the saving power of the Lord.

Today in the United States, we are celebrating Thanksgiving. Along with thanking our gracious God for His gift of salvation, and the honor of being able to share that with others, the US Home Team would like to express our deep gratitude to you, our prayer warriors, for your commitment to pray for this ministry and the work the Lord is doing through our partners. Today, we’re thankful for you!

Fri 26. Borachandra – India

We have no church building in our village but about 230 people listened to the gospel message in the past quarter. Thank God for this and particularly for my parents who both recently came to faith in the Lord Jesus. They have both forsaken their Hindu rituals and practices. Please pray for my mother who is in the hospital undergoing cancer treatment.

Sat 27. Khalid – Pakistan

I suffered from Covid-19 in April/May and my family was also affected. We thank God for healing us completely. Thank God that despite this illness, I was able to share God’s word in some churches and co-facilitate our Vacation Bible School. Thank God also for a couple who, after six years of marriage, was recently blessed with a baby boy in response to the prayer of the saints.

Sun 28. Bungomacha – India

Thank God for 67-year-old Tombi and Bidyananda, 22, who both recently accepted the Lord as their Savior and were baptized. It was such a joy for us all when uncle Tombi, before he was baptized, stood in front of the watching Hindu community to testify to his faith in Jesus Christ.

Mon 29. Simon – Myanmar

Amid the many difficulties in the country, thank God for keeping Simon and his family safe. Most of the time, the couple go together to visit the less-reached area in Hlegu where they are ministering to Buddhist families. Pray the Lord will support them as they prepare to move and reside fully in Hlegu.

The positive aspect of the pandemic is the opportunity we had to pray for many people. Thank God also for drawing Ram Sagar to Himself in response to the deliverance his wife experienced. The whole family now worships the Lord with us.
