ASIA REGION
Sun 1. Manuwar – Pakistan
Has been visiting school and hostel Bible clubs and co-facilitated the Vacation Bible School during summer vacations (July to September). Thank God for over a thousand children who came to faith in Jesus Christ. Manuwar and his wife have been married for many years and still praying for God’s blessing of children. Medical help is being sorted. Pray for God’s intervention.
Mon 2. Anadh – India
Thank God for the vision for mission that He has given members of our assembly. They support and encourage me in the ministry. One witness brought three families of 14 members into our fellowship. A new Assembly recently started in our area is making good progress. We thank the Lord for all these.
Tue 3. Binney – Bhutan
Thank God for the opportunity to visit Jaigaon area and share the gospel there. The past months have been very difficult for our family. Thank God for seeing us through. Pray for God’s continued presence, protection, and provision.
Wed 4. Lakshamanarao – India
Has been sharing the gospel message. Thank God for some who responded to the message and are now active in promoting the same vision. He suffered from malaria and experienced severe pain during the past months. Thank God for His healing.
Thu 5. Anonymous – East Asia
ST, one of our disciples from the BY tribe, has been suffering from cancer. The Lord called her home recently. We are, however, thankful that she persevered in her faith until the end of her life. We continue to minister to her family. Pray that they too may soon become disciples. Thank God for our other disciple, SG, who recently won SD to the Lord.
Fri 6. Lachiyya – India
The Lord gave the opportunity to share the gospel message with about 40 people during the quarter. The Covid-19 lockdown has given the assembly more time to sit at God’s feet and learn from His word. Thank God for this and for keeping the congregation safe from Covid-19.
Sat 7. Tshoki – Bhutan
Our services are going on well. Thank God for many believers who are expressing interest and joining us. They also accompany us to visit and reach out with the gospel. Thank God for one man who has been coming to our worship services. Pray that he may soon come to faith in the Lord Jesus.
Sun 8. Enosh – India
Two people voluntarily came to me to ask about Jesus Christ. It was a great joy for me as I freely shared the message of the gospel with them. Pray that the message they have received will bear lasting fruit in their lives. Pray also for more of such opportunities.
Mon 9. Mukhtar – Pakistan
A young man was hooked on drugs, doing nothing and always a thorn in flesh of his family. I noticed his problem when I visited the family. Then, he came to my office to ask for money and I seized the opportunity to minister to him and give him a copy of our Bible devotional. It was during Lent, so I urged him to attend Lent services in a nearby church. A month after, he returned to ask me many questions. God has used our time together to bring a change to his life. When I visited the family recently, his parents told me he had quit drugs and started a new life. Thank God for giving me the opportunity to minister to the young man. Please pray for his complete deliverance.
Tue 10. Mamidu – India
With the Covid-19 situation getting worse by the day, our small congregation meets every night to ask God for His intervention. Thank God for the son of one of our members who had been living in rebellion but recently decided to join our prayer meeting. Pray that he may soon give his life wholly to the Lord. We also thank God for 10 teenagers who recently came to faith through our ministry.
Wed 11. Manu – India
Thank God for provision that enabled us to share some needed items to some people around us. This has opened the door for ministry to us. Pray that fruit may follow the message of salvation that we proclaim.
Thu 12. Kiran – Pakistan
She co-facilitated the Girls’ camp and Sunday School teachers’ training program organized recently. A girl who participated in the camp thanked God for ministering to her particularly during the ‘Key to Success’ session where she came to understand that Jesus is the only way to successful living. She accepted Jesus as her Savior and sought to follow and make Him the only goal to pursue. Thank God for touching her.
Fri 13. Manori – Sri Lanka
Responding to the fallout of the Covid-19 lockdown, she joined the local welfare committee and together they provided dry rations for 1,500 families. Thank God for this provision that enabled the committee to minister to the needy families.
AMERICAS REGION
Sat 14. Mildred - Guatemala
We received bags of food which we made available to families going through difficult situations during the pandemic. Thank God for more than 28 families who were blessed with these gifts. The bags were prepared at home with the help of some volunteers and the delivery was made personally.
Sun 15. Sandra – Guatemala
Thank God for protecting our community from encountering any serious incidence of the Covid-19. God has protected the children from different schools. Thank God also for providing food for our children and their parents. Thank Him also for teaching us to trust Him more and more.
Mon 16. Worldlink USA
Praise the Lord that fruitful ministry is still happening in so many corners of the world, even amid radical disruption. Pray that the Lord will motivate a generous response to our End-of-the-Year campaign as people renew their vision of what God is doing and will do in the lives of the lost and hurting people reached by our Indigenous missionary partners.
AFRICA REGION
Tue 17. Kiki – Benin
Due to Covid-19 lockdown, we could not organize our annual camp for this year. We, however, decided to still conduct the camp leaders’ training to prepare and equip our volunteers for future camps. Thank God for the enthusiasm exhibited by participants.
Wed 18. Shaka – The Gambia
Since no outdoor ministry or evangelistic activities were permitted during the past quarter, we continued to minister to the children and teens through our Facebook and WhatsApp platforms. We organized a series of Bible studies for some of the students at the schools in which we have Bible clubs. Schools finally reopened mid-October. Pray for wisdom as we restart Bible club meetings.
Thu 19. Sola – Kaduna State, Nigeria
Has been running a Bible Club in his house with 35 children aged 4 to 11 regularly attending. The club meets every Sunday evening. The program includes songs, Bible stories, Bible Quiz, and of recent, recitation of the book of Jude. (One of the children can now recite 15 verses). Pray for God’s blessing on each of the children.
Fri 20. Metsing – Lesotho
He conducted Community Outreach in four centers. The activity was for children aged 6-14. It was aimed at providing the message of hope from the gospel amid the Covid-19 crisis. Each participant received a copy of Ke ‘Nete, a gospel book in the local language. Thank God for 45 participants who received Jesus as their Savior during the outreaches.
Sat 21. Morris – Liberia
The government has opened schools partially after the lockdown giving Morris the opportunity to visit six schools. The period that is allowed for fellowship is much reduced but thank God for opening doors of ministry again. Thank God also for 10 parents who participated in the training workshop organized to equip them to minister to their children at home.
Sun 22. Albino – Yobe, Nigeria
I organized a prayer meeting in my house. Three of us prayed for the healing of the world and revival on our campuses with the hope that schools will soon resume. I sent text messages of encouragement and prayer to 150 students who are members of our Bible clubs. I thank the Lord for some responses that assured me the message ministered to some of them.
Mon 23. Romain – Congo DR
During the Covid-19 lockdown, churches were closed. However, the youth we mentored in our Bible study groups have in turn mentored other teens. A few small neighborhood prayer groups have emerged as a result and several young people became interested in Bible study in small groups. Thank God for the good that is coming out of what we would consider evil.
Tue 24. Ezechias – Rwanda
He organized training for 523 Pastors, Sunday, and Sabbath School teachers. They are in turn required to train parents to teach their children at home since children are not permitted in the few churches that are open for Sunday services. It is hoped that the parents so equipped, will minister to over 100,000 children. Pray that every participant will faithfully pass on what they learned to the parents in their churches.
Wed 25. Peter – South Sudan
Conducted training for children workers and Sunday School teachers in one of the regions and has been teaching Biblical Values in the churches. Also reached the children with the gospel through sports. Over 600 people heard the gospel through these programs. Thank God for 35 people who came to faith in the Lord.
Thu 26. Mzwabantu – South Africa
With the opening of schools, he visited and ministered in the Bible clubs in two schools in Soweto. He conducted group and one-on-one life-skills sessions to equip the children to live right. Thank God for opening the door of ministry in schools again.
Fri 27. Emmanuel – Borno, Nigeria
My involvement with the Youth Fellowship is yielding positive results. I had several opportunities to conduct Bible studies in my group. Thank God for several teenagers who are open and willing to learn more about Jesus and grow in Him. Some of them are coming to our house regularly for follow-up, discipleship, and counseling.
Sat 28. Helene – Congo DR
She oversees the ministry’s orphanage in Beni, conducts family fellowship with the children every evening, and spends time listening to them, especially those newly admitted. Thank God for the opportunity to introduce each orphan to the Savior. Thank God also for kits, food, and other items donated during the quarter which made it possible for the children to have balanced diets. Also thank God for one of the children who completed primary school (Grade 6).
Sun 29. Mathe – Congo DR
He organized an evangelistic outreach at a local center and two holistic outreaches. Over 700 children and adults heard the message about the goodness of God and One to whom we could call in times of trouble. Thank God for 120 children who came to faith in Christ during these and other programs.
Mon 30. Stellah – Tanzania
A three-month special project to reach all primary and secondary schools in 6 to 10 Regions of the country with the gospel of our Lord was inaugurated in September. Thank God for drawing many students, including some Muslims, into His kingdom. Pray for more volunteers and provision to cover transport costs. We have three to five groups who, depending on the distance, visit seven to nine schools each day.
