The Lord recently reminded me that following Jesus steadfastly to the end comes with a cost. We lost one of our friends and colleagues in ministry in Mozambique to the Alshabaab Islamic terrorists. They hung him on a tree and cut off his head. The pain was deep for us. But in the midst of this, the Lord led me to Revelation 9:9-11 “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” Pray for the bereaved families and our ministry. We know that in the timing of our God he will make things right and pray that before that time the perpetrators will find forgiveness in Christ as we find peace in Him.
