As we go through this month, looking forward to the final day of March, which happens to be the day that virtually all Christians celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, let’s remember that the only hope of having our prayers answered is also the only hope in having our prayers heard. God, the Father hears our prayers because God the Son died on the cross to pay the price for our sins and rose again to be seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us. Praise the Lord for his remarkable gift. 

Let’s not miss what God might do if we ask by not asking.

In this month's Prayerlink, you can read about God's work in many of the least-reached countries. The International Director of Worldlink and I recently returned from a trip to India and Bangladesh. We managed to meet over 200 of our missionaries. God granted us the opportunity to equip and encourage them with His Word.

It's important to understand that your prayers and financial contributions are not just enabling, but you are also joining hands with these dedicated saints to continue fulfilling Jesus' command found in Matthew 28 to make disciples of all nations.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 ESV

In this month’s Prayerlink, we start the new year with a reminder of the new mercies of God and the new story he invites people into as they come to faith in Jesus. In the last three months leading up to 2024, 143,350 heard the Gospel, and 11,957 professed faith in Christ Jesus. Praise God for our new life and the new opportunity to share the Gospel with those who live in darkness and hopelessness.
