He facilitated two-day prayer seminars in Damaturu and Gombe with a total attendance of 230 participants. Other ministry activities include being the main speaker at a children’s rally, leadership training, zonal committee meeting, and facilitating a workshop during a teachers’ conference. He ministered to almost 1500 people during the quarter. Thank God for 450 people who came to faith in the Lord during the various activities.
Sat 2. Mania & Catia - Mozambique
In the last 3 to 6 months, we have ministered to people who are really in search of God but who cannot step out in faith for fear of threats from family members. For example, a Muslim couple had accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and began to seek God. They however renounced their faith because of many death threats they faced. Pray that new believers may have the courage to stand firm in their faith. Pray also that God may grant us wisdom as we seek to mentor the new believers, especially those renouncing Islam.
Sun 3. Matano & Juddie – Kenya
AB, a former Sheikh, was our disciple in Adhama, Kenya. His wife and brother, OS, were pupils of our mission school. They used to join our Discovery Bible Study. They are now all believers and serious followers of Christ. AB and his wife have been baptized and have now moved back to Madogo. OS is yet to be baptized. He is still in school in Adhama. We have started a Home Church in our house with the couple. Pray that they and OS may stand firm and grow steadily in their faith.
Mon 4. Shina – Plateau, Nigeria
We organized a Missions and Evangelism Training (MET) at the Aminu Saleh College of Education in April for 22 students. We chose the campus for the training because the Christian students there are few and face different degrees of persecution both from Muslim students and the school authority. Our aim was to equip the students to share their faith with other students in a hostile environment. Thank God for the impact of the training on participants and the subsequent increase in the fellowship’s numerical strength from 26 to 39 members.
Tue 5. Timothy – Kenya
Thank God for some Christian friends who visited and accompanied us on a door-to-door evangelism which brought 10 people to faith in Christ and for a successful youth camp held recently. On the first day, all campers went out to share the gospel message from door-to-door. Thank God for 3 people who gave their lives to Christ.
Wed 6. Sidy & Emilie – Senegal
Sidy’s mother in the village has a sore foot that has refused to heal and prevents her from even leaving her room. She has not recovered from the grief following the death of Sidy’s sister in December. She left 6 children behind. Added to that, his cousin who should be assisting her has also been sickly for a few years. Pray for God’s intervention in the two women’s health. Pray also that his, and Emilie’s mothers, may soon come to faith in Christ.

Sat 9. Dennis – Kenya
Thank God for the successful registration of our school. With that, we can now operate here without any interference. Pray that this will create an avenue of effective ministry to the children and their parents. We had hoped to start our horticultural farming project, but prolonged drought delayed our plans. Thank God for the short rains we had recently. There is now adequate water in the reservoir to proceed.
Sun 10. Emmanuel – Borno, Nigeria
Thank God for the steady growth of Emmanuella, the Senior Secondary School 3 (Grade 12) girl who took decision for Christ during the Zonal Conference in Maiduguri in July 2021 and was delivered from sexual abuse. The ministry registered her for the national exams which she is now taking. Pray for her success and subsequent admission into a higher institution.
Mon 11. Johnkessly – Kaduna, Nigeria
Organized evangelistic outreaches to 20 schools reaching 2,659 students with 873 of them turning their lives over to the Lord. Pray for an effective follow-up program.
Tue 12. Bolaji – Malawi
The ministry is running a Nursery/Primary school as a means of reaching out to the children and the community. The greatest problem facing the school is lack of quality teachers with professional and spiritual capability. Pray that the Lord may bring in the right teachers and that the few faithful ones currently serving will not be weary.
Wed 13. Cyprian – Sokoto, Nigeria
God has been faithful in keeping us safe despite threats by Islamic fanatics especially after the killing of Deborah. (Fellow students accused Deborah of blaspheming their prophet. She was summarily stoned to death and her corpse burned. Muslim youths who were demanding the release of the two people detained for the murder, went on rampage killing more Christians and destroying their property and church buildings.) Cyprian ministered to 19 students of Tambuyal Girls’ School during Sunday worship. The Christian population has dwindled due to persecution. Thank God for 11 new believers and pray that God will keep the few Christian students in the school safe.
Thu 14. Wafula – Kenya
The avenues that give us access to interact with the community are mainly teaching and tailoring. As a result of these activities, we can freely share the gospel with the people and encourage them to utilize the opportunities we offer them to empower themselves for a better life. Pray for wisdom in our daily interactions with the people.
Fri 15. Albino – Adamawa, Nigeria
Thank God for the safe relocation from Yobe to Adamawa and for healing his wife and daughter who caught chicken pox upon arrival in their new station. Albino facilitated the training of 15 new leaders at the Polytechnic Damaturu school while over 300 students, including many Muslims, participated in the send-forth service organized for the final year students. Pray that the message they heard may bear fruit in their lives.

Tue 26. Arjun – Nepal
I went to Dhusine village in Sindhupalchowk district (70 km from Kathmandu) to preach the gospel. I pray that the Lord may make a way for me to go there again. Pray that our God may continue to work in the hearts of these potential believers.

Fri 29. Dhruba – Nepal
Nir Bahadur used to go to church but had long forsaken the Lord. A widower, he met and fell in love with Maya, a widow. They started living together. They happened to come to our church recently and I seized the opportunity to share the gospel with them and challenge their sinful relationship. After weeks of counselling, they repented of their sins, and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. They have now formalized their relationship and found comfort and support in the family of God. Pray for their steady growth and renewed love for God.
Sat 30. Surjo – India
In her effort to see her extended family come to faith in the Lord, a sister in our church facilitated our meetings with them. We are currently studying God’s word with them. Pray that the Lord may bring them to repentance and salvation. Pray also for some local people who are bent on preventing people from turning to Christ. Thank God for some who nevertheless continue to seek God.
Sun 31. Somendro – India
We have been praying for our church building for more than 10 years. God answered our prayers. We dedicated the building to the Lord towards the end of 2021. I also thank God for the support and encouragement of my father-in-law. He usually accompanies me when I go out to share the gospel. The Lord recently brought two people to faith through our witness.
