AFRICA REGION
Sun 1. Muluken – Ethiopia
Thank God for 40 new believers resulting from school evangelism activities that he organized in 12 schools. One of those who recently came to faith in Christ is a 45-year-old man of Muslim background. In responding to the Good News, the Lord also freed him from satanic bondage. He testified to the peaceful life the Lord restored to him. Support him in prayer as he learns basic Christian teachings in a local church near his village.
Mon 2. Lukhanyiso – South Africa
I have engaged in leading weekly devotions in a high school. During the classes, Hindu and Muslim kids are usually taken out. It is amazing to see that some of them are now staying and listening to the Word of God. So, this is turning into the whole school fellowship every week. Pray that the Word of God may bear fruit in the pupils’ lives.
Tue 3. Nestor – Congo DR
As he prepares to retire at the end of the year, he has been focusing on training. He conducted training for youth leaders and Sunday School teachers during the quarter. Please pray for guidance for the ministry as they seek the right person to take over the ministry which includes the Bamatu Centre where many former prostitutes have found true life. Pray for guidance for him too as he faces the future.
Wed 4. Metsing – Lesotho
He and Thandi lost their new-born son two days after his birth. Please pray for their comfort and for their son, Khanya. Metsing ministered to 55 people during the marriage seminar organized in February. He and his team also visited 22 Bible clubs in three districts. Thank God for success in reviving some of the faltering clubs.
Thu 5. Angélique – Congo DR
Story of a changed life: The wife of a soldier whose family was so poor she depends on cereals that drop from measuring cups. She goes to the market early in the morning to pick them. However, after receiving Jesus Christ, she discovered a gift she had never recognized. She started exercising this gift and has been able to adequately take care of her family. Thank God for His intervention in her life.
Fri 6. Lucas – Tanzania
Preparation for this year’s Operation Christmas Child, which Lucas organized in partnership with Samaritan’s Purse, has commenced with the organization of a day of prayer which focused on the government’s approval of duty-free status for the shoe boxes. The focus this year is the Unreached People Groups in Nungwi, Tumbatu, Makunduchi, and the Pemba Island. Please pray that the program will open doors of effective ministry among the children in these areas.
Sat 7. Morris – Liberia
Thank God for open doors of ministry in three new schools. Philip, one of the students, has been addicted to prohibited drugs for many years. Thank God for drawing him to Himself through the testimony of one of his friends. His parents had given up on him, but he is now a new creation in Christ.
Sun 8. David Lutete – Congo DR
Our region is besieged by religious groups advocating ancestor worship and contending that Christianity is a white man’s religion and is the cause of our poverty since people have abandoned the gods of their ancestors. These groups are extremists, aggressive and hostile to Jesus Christ. They target people of all ages, especially children and youth. Pray for grace to face this challenge with aggressive holistic propagation of the gospel message.
Mon 9. Charles – Tanzania
Visited a few Sunday schools to encourage the teachers to complete the 12-lesson “Greatest Journey” course so the children can graduate. Thank God for the 959 children who have completed the course and graduated. Each child received a copy of the New Testament. Pray that the lessons they learned may impact their lives now and in the future.
Tue 10. Neo – South Africa
He and his team were on a mission to Lesotho. One of the highlights of the trip was getting to change a woman's mind from the ancestral worship of slaughtering animals as a form of thanksgiving to God, to knowing that Jesus Christ was the ultimate sacrifice, and that we have been made holy through His sacrifice according to Hebrews 10. She read the scriptures for herself in her Bible and her entire perspective changed. Thank God for impacting the life of this lady and 99 others who came to faith in Christ.
Wed 11. Albino – Yobe, Nigeria
Conducted training for 12 new leaders of a local university. Thank God for two of the leaders who rededicated their lives to the Lord and for 12 students who received the Lord as their Savior during the Sunday service.
Thu 12. Patrick – Uganda
Conducted 10 sessions of parenting training and led parenting Sundays in two churches. A total of 1,798 people participated in the trainings. He also facilitated a retreat for 11 couples. Thank God for the positive impact of the programs of each participant. The stories of transformation are still coming from these families.

Sun 15. Dennis – Uganda
We have been working on the Values curriculum for the past two years. The final module on responsibility was recently completed and now, all the curriculum, the teachers' manuals, visual aid books, and music CDs have been produced and sent to the regions. During the quarter, I co-facilitated a training session for church volunteers on the use of the Values curriculum to evangelize in schools. My prayer is that these materials will impact many lives in all the places they will be used.
Mon 16. Worldlink USA
Thank the Lord for faithful friends who have offered a $100,000 matching challenge for our May/June Campaign. Ask God to move others to respond with gifts that will result in $200,000 of “above and beyond” giving and lead to hundreds of additional indigenous missionaries being launched into successful ministry.

Thank God for an opportunity to share the gospel in three local villages. Shyam and his family accepted God’s salvation and I have paid them follow-up visits. Thank God for their progress. Pray also that my wife’s relatives in Faskot may come to know Jesus and be liberated from their addiction.

For two months I was praying for the salvation of my friend. Thank God for His miraculous intervention in his life. He came to faith in Christ recently and was baptized. Pray that he may grow steadily in his faith and in the knowledge of God’s Word and become an effective witness to others.

His team ministered in Bandarawela to about 110 underprivileged children. About 70% of the children and teens were from non-Christian backgrounds. I tested positive for COVID early February. Thank God for healing me. The past three months have been very fruitful resulting in the launching of our 6th local church in Suoi Kiet. Normally, we launch a church if we have 20-30 new committed believers. We praise the Lord because this one already has 30 members attending Sunday service.

Now they are wholly dedicated to the Lord. Thank God for them and pray that they may grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord.
