Sun 1. Hellen & Wycliffe – Ethiopia
No bus company agreed to give me a ticket from Nairobi to Dar-es-Salaam because I was carrying 700 audio and printed bibles. As I wondered what to do, God provided a bike with adequate capacity to carry the Bibles. All I just needed was to fuel it and obtain international insurance. I sorted these out within a week and began my journey covering over 1800kms. I was also able to visit the mission fields riding the bike. I have never ridden a bike for more than 200kms but by God’s grace, I covered the entire distance without any incidence. My luggage was not checked at the border, and I was not stopped by any police throughout my journey. Praise God for this miracle and answer my prayers.
Mon 2. Dennis & Jackline – Kenya
Our first convert here has been facing a very challenging time for someone her age. She went to stay with her father when she joined high school. The father was alarmed when he noticed that she no longer performed Islamic rituals. He insisted she had to do these in his presence. The young girl would go on the prayer mat but pray and call on the name of Jesus Christ in her heart. Thank God for her faith in the Lord and for a Christian friend in school with whom she studies the Word and prays. Pray for the Lord to continue to make her strong.
Tue 3. Womba – Zambia
In April, we held a camp in Lusaka province with 384 boys and girls in attendance. The camp allowed these young people to come together, learn from God’s Word, and grow in their faith. Pray that the Lord may continue to pour his blessings on all campers and leaders.
Wed 4. Kossivi & Essi – Togo
Sister Fredine was born into a pagan family, so she never attended any church. I invited her to participate in our discipleship class. After completing my teaching on ‘What I Must Do to Be Saved,’ Fredine came forward to give her life to Christ. We baptized her the same day as per her request. Five days after her new birth and baptism, Fredine passed away. Thank God for her prompt action. We know that her soul is resting with her Lord and Savior.
Thu 5. Yacob – Ethiopia
We had a wonderful time during our mission trip to Kenya hosted by a local church. The Lord brought 27 people into his kingdom as we went on one-on-one evangelism. In turn in Ethiopia, we hosted 27 Kenyan missionaries for 10 days of evangelistic outreaches in Addis Ababa and Hawassa. We conducted mass evangelism, one-on-one evangelism, and training for professionals. A total of 335 people gave their lives to Christ for which we praise the Lord.
Fri 6. Isaac & Agnes – Kenya
We are going through a tough time because some who professed to become Christians have reconverted to Islam. This has made outreach to the community difficult. You reach out to them, but they still see Christianity not as the right way to follow due to pressure from the community. In the last 3 months, we have been seeking to strengthen the church. This has meant a reorganization of the leadership, reaching out to those who had backslidden, and seeking to restore them to faith. Thank God for some who are returning to faith in Christ. Pray that believers will hold tightly to the Lord despite strong opposition.
Sat 7. Shina - Abuja Nigeria
To ensure those who have responded to the Lord Jesus during our evangelistic programs understand their decisions and how to live for him, we started discipleship classes at the College of Education. We first held a training for the 17 facilitators. We then divided the new believers into groups of 5 to 7 and attached a trained facilitator to each group. After 6 weeks of meeting, Ladi testified that she now has an assurance of her salvation. Thank God for the impact of the training and the Bible study classes.
Sun 8. Fredrick & Emily – Kenya
Our convert, ALD, graduated from discipleship training school. It is amazing to see what God can do using his people. After his conversion, he was disowned by his entire family, and he could not come back to his village anytime soon. He is currently staying with a missionary friend in PW. Praise God because, despite Ald’s situation, he continues to bring positive change to many lives.
Mon 9. Nelito & Amelia – Mozambique
DAL was on the verge of divorcing her husband. But as soon as my wife and I started praying for and counseling her, she came to a better understanding and dropped the idea of divorce. Thank God for the impact of our ministry on her life and pray for the couple’s full reconciliation.
Tue 10. Hannah & Philip – Ghana
We reached out to children during Easter week as we hosted Easter parties in four of our communities (Kabache, Kanakulai, Lentikpa, and Kidenge). A total of 600 children attended the events. We also conducted a community-wide outreach with a deliberate focus on the youth. Praise God for 30 youths who made decisions to follow Jesus. Please pray for grace and wisdom as we continue to follow up with these new believers.
Wed 11. Kunle – Nigeria
Our goal is to reach 25 villages with the gospel of Christ this year. We targeted 7 villages in the first quarter and ministered to 1501 people during the quarter. Thank God for bringing 530 new believers to himself. We are focusing on another 7 villages in the next 3 months. We thank God for opening doors to freely preach the gospel message in these villages.
Thu 12. Celestine – Benin
AB attends our discipleship class. He was an idol worshipper before he gave his life to Christ. Benin is a country inundated with animism and witchcraft. He shared this testimony: “The idols used to disturb me on the farm. When I understood my position in Christ and my weapon to fight as a Christian, I shouted Jesus’ name when I encountered some of these dark spiritual realities. Before now, I used to struggle within the cycle of animism.” We praise the Lord for showering his grace on AB.
Fri 13. Abiola & Bukola – Chad
Pray for Hissein, a friend of mine in the neighborhood. I have often shared the gospel message with him. Although he has a Christian mom, he has been influenced by his father who cut him away from his mum and sent him to Algeria for studies. I shared a scripture with him the last time he came to the house, and I am hoping to follow up with a clear message about Christ.
Sat 14. Matano & Juddie – Kenya
The family of Fata, a new convert, wanted to kill her and the missionaries but we rescued her and reported the threat to the area chief who warned the family to ensure no evil happened to her. We decided to take her to college and started to disciple her. We initially did this secretly, but it reached a stage where she started sharing her faith publicly and openly declared she could never denounce Christ. Thank God that the villagers have now come to terms with her stand and granted her and the missionaries the freedom to practice their faith.
Sun 15. Worldlink USA
Worldlink’s Annual Impact Report was sent out last month. Worldlink’s missionary partners reached 1,050,600 people last year with 119,611 accepting God’s gift of salvation. The release of the Annual Impact Report came shortly after God provided abundantly for the $100,000 matching challenge. We praise God because such provision results in more missionaries sent to the world’s least-reached people.

Pray for fruitful ministry.

Sun 22. Esther – Vietnam
Mrs. Chau, a 67-year-old Chinese woman resides in an apartment complex near an evangelical meeting point. Despite numerous invitations, she never came to hear the gospel. She was deeply rooted in her traditional Chinese beliefs and practices. However, everything changed when her sister, 64, Mrs. Anh, came to believe in Christ. She had always respected her family's traditions but found new hope and purpose in her faith. She invited Mrs. Chau to church, sharing her newfound joy and peace. Thank God that Mrs. Chau accepted the invitation this time and ultimately accepted Christ.

Pray that the Lord may fully equip them so they can effectively reach out to the unreached people groups to which He will send them.
Tue 24. Anonymous - India
Tears of joy welled up in the brethren’s eyes as they held food bags. The suffering and pain of the persecuted and banished families is inexplicable. Many of them were at the point of death being without basic food. The relief help to the brethren wiped their tears away. We praise the Lord for the provision through Worldlink that made this relief possible.
Wed 25. D.G - Vietnam
Ms. Toi visited her grandchildren in the city. She heard the Gospel there and gave her life to Christ. When she returned to the mountainous region where we serve, we heard the good news about her conversion. We gave her an audio Bible. She would listen to it while her children and grandchildren sat around her. We had the opportunity to share the Gospel with the family. Her son and two grandchildren gave their lives to Christ. We formed a cell group with them in July. Please pray that through this cell group and Ms. Toi’s family’s testimony, more people will know and believe in Jesus.
Thu 26. Churchill - India
The region where we serve was devastated by flood. Two of our new believers lost their lives. Please pray for God’s comfort for the bereaved families and our team. Pray also for the provision of a plot of land in the new mission field to build a church building.

Thank God also for giving us 47 new volunteers and 7 students who were baptized during the quarter.

Each week, I train a network of pastors who are planting house churches. We also visit one of them in their community and have some unique outreaches like nutrition programs for children. We have started a course on hairdressing for single mothers. Thank God for opening the door to share the Gospel with several families, helping some of them to be reconciled with Christ, and for Marlen’s baptism.

Carlos, a 27-year-old young man was an accounting student last semester. He fell prey to drug abuse and left his studies. However, the Lord rescued him during our evangelistic program. Now he is serving the Lord, reconciled with his family, and through his new food business, supporting children's ministry. All praise to our Lord for saving Carlos.
