November 2022 Prayerlink

AFRICA REGION

Tue 1. Ezekiel - Plateau, Nigeria

During the quarter, Ezekiel and his team conducted two key activities: visits and outreaches to schools and conferences in a few centers during which they had prayer sessions, Bible study, seminars, and Bible exposition. They ministered to about 12,700 children and young people during these programs. Thank God for the bountiful harvest of almost 2,000 souls into the family of God and 140 others who rededicated their lives to the Lord.

Zonal Conference – Nigeria

Wed 2. Dodzi & Prisca – Togo

Dodzi is currently discipling 17 missionaries. They have taken courses on discipleship and gone on door-to-door evangelistic outreaches at three local villages. They also made donations of food to 30 children in another local village. The theoretical and practical sessions were to help the disciples respond to the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. Pray that all 17 may grow to become effective fishers of men for Christ.

Thu 3. Sali & Delphine – Cameroon

Sali has been struggling with his health for a while. He was so sick he could hardly pick up his phone. Just as he was on the mend, he developed painful rashes at the back of his neck. Please pray for complete healing. The unhealthy environment in which he is living could have worsened his state. The roof of his house is leaking profusely. Please pray for provision to sort this out.

Fri 4. James – Plateau, Nigeria

Organized children’s rallies in two centers. A total of 922 children came from 44 schools in the two areas for the conference. They had Bible studies, Bible expositions, and academic seminars. Thank God for drawing 158 children into His family and 198 others who rededicated their lives to him.

Sat 5. Augustin & Rosalie – Cameroon

During the months of May and June 2022, the Full Gospel Mission requested that I conduct training on "evangelism and follow-up" for their members. We had the training every Wednesday. Thank God for many members who declared their faith in the Lord Jesus during the training period. The whole assembly also decided to dedicate two worship services to evangelism. Members individually also committed themselves to preach the gospel.

New Believers - Cameroon

Sun 6. Vuyokazi – South Africa

Currently working with about 150 Grade 3 children in Primary School. He is also doing sports ministry by running a basketball club. Most of the children do not go to church. The only time they hear about God and His love is during the meetings. Thank God for some who are learning to trust in God and pray to Him and for the impact that the word of God is making on the children.

Mon 7. Sylvain – Congo DR

Sylvain and his team were invited by a nearby church to facilitate their week-long children’s Bible camp and the Sunday school celebration. He delivered the message during the Sunday celebration. Thank God for the opportunity to minister to more than 200 children and their parents.

Church Camp – Congo DR

Tue 8. Morris – Liberia

In July, he hosted a two-day revival program. On average, 126 children from three schools were in attendance. Thank God for 13 children who came to faith in the Lord Jesus. Pray for effective follow-up mainly in their Bible clubs.

Wed 9. Marie-Therese – Rwanda

Eight-year-old James was in one of our camps. Under conviction, he confessed to stealing from his mother, prayed for God’s forgiveness and yielded his life to the Lord. He then went home to confess to his mother and seek her forgiveness. She forgave him but set a test which he passed and confirmed he has truly changed. That led the mother to faith in Christ Jesus. Thank God for speaking, “Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants…” – Psalm 8:2

Thu 10. Patrick – Uganda

I preached to 1,600 inmates. Thank the Lord for 26 of them who gave their lives to Jesus. Because of the impact of this ministry, we now have the opportunity to visit this prison every month. Coupled with that is the request to mentor their prison wardens and prefects in leadership. Thank God for opening the door of ministry in this prison.

Prison Ministry - Uganda

Fri 11. David – Congo DR

Thank God for restoring Priscille. She was baptized at 16 but backslid mainly because she lives in a part of the city that is the stronghold of anti-Christ religious sects. Her father led her to our office where we have been taking her through basic Christian tenets. She has grown strong in her faith and now wants to start a Bible meditation cell in her neighborhood to reach young people and bring them to Christ. This is a great challenge knowing that the sects operating in these areas are hostile to Christ and can be aggressive. Please support us in prayer as, with her, we plan to shake this neighborhood with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Sat 12. Worldlink UK

For the first time in two years, the Worldlink UK Board of trustees is meeting in person today (with a few meeting on zoom for non-Covid related reasons). Pray that in the midst of the political turmoil and economic struggles and difficulties in the UK, that the Lord would guide the trustees to wise decision making regarding growing Worldlink‘s foot pad and reaching more unreached people.

Sun 13. Lily-Claire – Mauritius

I am walking alongside 26 vulnerable young people who come from challenged backgrounds in an afterschool support program using a holistic approach. This includes sharing the Good News of Christ and helping them experience His love and care, listening to them and offering counseling, providing a hot meal, and teaching them remedial classes in English, French, and Math. Please pray that God’s love that we share with them will draw them all to Him.

Volunteer Helping Children with a Math Exercise – Mauritius

Mon 14. Ezechias – Rwanda

We organized two 4-day camps for leaders of Bible clubs in Nyungwe and Buranga. A total of 255 leaders from 96 schools participated in the training. Thank God for two campers who came to faith in Christ and pray that the equipping the campers have received will help them to be more effective as they lead their Bible clubs.

Tue 15. Lucas – Tanzania

He lost his mother-in-law during the quarter. Please pray for comfort for the family. He has been following up with 49 churches that are conducting the Greatest Journey course. Thank God that through this program, Sunday School ministries have been strengthened both in number and spiritual growth, enmity from Muslim neighbors has reduced and one new church was planted. A total of 1,170 children have been enrolled in the class.

Wed 16. Mzwabantu – South Africa

A lady has had car accidents on several occasions. Being a strong believer in ancestral spirits, she slaughters cows to seek her ancestors’ protection and direction. But the accidents continued. I witnessed to her and invited her to follow God’s way by inviting Jesus into her life. During a visit to one of the churches, she accepted Jesus and forsook ancestral worship. I met her again and she testified to the peace she now enjoys as a child of God. Pray that she may be steadfast in her faith.

ASIA REGION

Sat 19. Chandana – India

Earlier, due to the Covid lockdown, I could only visit our immediate area, but the door is now widely open to visit further afield. Some people from the surrounding villages have been coming to our church. God has also helped us resolve our initial communication problems. He brought Rasaraj, an alcoholic, to faith in Himself. He now helps us communicate with the local people.

Sun 20. Evans – India

Our focus has shifted to five new villages. At first only a few people were interested in joining with us but after organizing a healing prayer, people became more interested. Forty people from these villages now join us for Sunday worship. Pray that others may come to accept Jesus as their Savior and healer of their souls.

Mon 21. Arjun – Nepal

Arjun regularly helps a local fellowship and runs the Sunday school there. Thank God for providing a cheaper room for the fellowship. Bible study for teens and youth takes place every Saturday and the gospel is shared as opportunities arise. Thank God for two people who came to faith in the Lord Jesus in the past six months.

Tue 22. Pemtanna – India

We thank the Lord for giving us ample opportunity to proclaim the gospel message in our villages, for bringing people to faith in Him and helping us to establish a new church. Pray for spiritual growth for the church and my family members so we will faithfully do His work.

Wed 23. Jitendra & Gayatri – India

Pahari has been suffering from serious pains for the past five years. When we shared the gospel message with him, he readily accepted the Lord as his Savior. As we prayed for him, the Lord granted him complete healing. We praise the Lord for His intervention in his life.

Thu 24. Timothy – Sri Lanka

Organized two-day Vacation Bible Schools in two centers and One-day children’s gatherings in seven centers. He ministered to almost 700 children during these programs and God drew 40 of them to faith in Him. Thank God for the abundant fruit that followed these programs.

One-Day Children’s Gathering – Sri Lanka

Fri 25. Mani – India

We organized gospel meetings in two nearby cities. A total of 220 people heard the gospel message. We baptized two people, Saudeep and Mary, during the quarter and thank the Lord for adding more people to our church. Two families went into depression because of debt. We thank the Lord for delivering them both and restoring their joy.

Sat 26. Kumar - India

Raanka was seriously anaemic, and doctors had written her off thinking she cannot live. Her husband heard the gospel of Christ, believed in Him, and brought his wife for prayers. God healed her and restored her health fully. Thank God for His intervention in Devi’s life.

Sun 27. Anonymous - East Asia

‘NET’ is one of the Islamic strongholds in our country. Thank God for the opportunity to set up a base there. From here, the great commission of our Lord is being carried out. From here, teams also go out to DB, our focus area where we share the gospel message and follow up with new believers. Please pray for SID, our missionary in NET, as he prepares for his wedding in December. Pray that their ministry may multiply a hundredfold.

Mon 28. Nandi – India

With the lifting of Covid restrictions, we were able to visit three villages and share the gospel message with many. Many in these villages are alcoholics and gamblers. Some lives were affected when we started prayer meetings there. About 30 people have accepted the Lord as their Savior and four of them have been baptized. We have set up two house churches. Thank God for His abundant blessings to the ministry.

Tue 29. EIM – India

God is powerfully changing people during these tough times of serious persecutions. We baptized 13 people during the quarter. Thank God for grace to continue to witness for Him despite the serious persecutions facing his people. Floods have impacted our mission fields with 11 missionaries losing their homes. Pray for God’s intervention.

Flood Menace - India

Wed 30. Peuli – India

We currently minister in six villages. Altogether about 150 people meet regularly to worship in the house churches. The villagers were initially full of superstition and were against us. But after persistently sharing the gospel message, they started to visit and share their problems with me. Thank God for the impact of the gospel on their lives.
