ASIA REGION
Tue 1. South and East Asia
Please pray for healing for our partners in Asia who have been suffering from COVID-19 attacks. Thank God for healing many of them. Pray that all may receive the healing touch of our Lord and others in their various countries will be kept safe.
Wed 2. Krumma – India
Organized Gospel meetings in Vemsore and four other villages. Also went on hospital visitation and engaged in personal evangelism. Thank God for Adilaxmi of Vemsore village, the only lady who came to faith in the Lord during these programs.
Thu 3. Vara – India
During the youth program organized in Divan Chesuva village, the brethren shared testimonies of their encounters with the Lord Jesus. God used this to minister to Prasanth. He was deeply convicted of his sins and trusted in the Lord for forgiveness. Thank God for the transformation that is taking place in his life. Pray for his steady growth as he fellowships with the brethren.
Fri 4. Dhruba – Nepal
Due to lockdown in the country, many of the believers were not able to go to their churches. This situation created a thirst and hunger for Christian fellowship. Many of them came to our church fellowship to worship the Lord and assuage their spiritual thirst. Some have since become regular worshippers. Please pray for their growth and renewed commitment to the Lord.
Sat 5. Vijayakuma – India
The Gospel message was proclaimed in Sivaparam, Bernapadu and three other villages, ministering to about 80 people altogether. Thank God for touching the hearts of Srinu and his wife. They accepted the message and turned away from their traditional beliefs to Christ. Please pray that they will be effective witnesses in their village.
Sun 6. Jessy and Suku – India
Thank God for the short-term Bible school that is regularly taking place under the supervision of Jessy and Suku. Pray that through this school, they will raise more leaders who have a clear understanding of the word of God.
Mon 7. Timothy – Sri Lanka
Thank God for the two-day Zoom programs we organized for boys living in Ratnapura area. Approximately 80 children attended the event. It was a new experience for me and the children. It turned out to be an excellent ministry and a great opportunity to share the Gospel with the kids.
Tue 8. John Mark - India
Korra Davi was a traditional worshipper. When she came to our village for a program, God gave me the opportunity to share the Gospel message with her. She did not respond for a month but then she asked me to come to her village and explain the meaning of salvation. I did, and the Lord caused her to receive the free gift of salvation with a deep conviction. She is ready to be baptized. Thank God for His intervention in her life.
Wed 9. Douminlun – India
Pray for wisdom as I learn to play the guitar and increase my knowledge of the computer. I have found that these are much needed tools for effective ministry to children. I feel the pain seeing lost souls worshiping idols and not knowing the true living God.
Thu 10. Anonymous – East Asia
Pray for our high school and college ministry. The group, made up of only six youths, meets regularly. Recently however, one of the parents, SM, decided to withdraw his children from the group. He said he would prefer that his children work and make money for the family rather than spending their time studying the Bible. Please pray that God may minister to SM and his children.
Fri 11. Babulal – India
Thank God for fruitful ministry in Nachipur, Denwari and Lalachoriya villages. Five new believers are being prepared for baptism. The suffering of a lady in Nachipur was so much we were shedding tears as we prayed for her. God answered our prayers and healed her two weeks after we prayed for her. Please pray that God may strengthen her faith. People around her are trying to discourage her from following Jesus.
Sat 12. Biren - India
About 270 listened to the Good News that we proclaimed in Parakanali and two other villages. Thank God for 74 people who came to faith in the Lord Jesus during the reporting period. We baptized 16 people and 12 others are going through discipleship class in preparation for baptism.
Sun 13. Jeevakumaran Sri Lanka
Conducted children’s devotions in seven locations with a total of 272 children in attendance. About 100 of the children were from non-Christian backgrounds. Thank God for the opportunity to share the Gospel message with so many children.
Mon 14. Biswajith – India
We focused our ministry on Makutmonipur village where, in response to the proclamation of the Good News, 21 people received Christ as their Saviour, and 13 people were baptized. Thank God for two churches that were planted. Pray for the growth of these churches.
Tue 15. Worldlink USA
Please pray for our Home Team to respond with wisdom to the requests for emergency help from our partners in areas that are being decimated by the pandemic. Pray for continued replenishing of our emergency fund as needed.
AFRICA REGION
Wed 16. Nelito & Amelia – Mozambique
He and his wife have been discipling a nominal Christian woman. She opened her house and invited family members and neighbors to join her. A house church has now started there. Thank God for this small beginning and pray for the growth of the house church.
Thu 17. Yinka – Nigeria
She has not been feeling well for a while. The insecurity situation around their village has not been helpful. She is currently on three months medical leave. Pray that God may grant her peace of heart and full recovery during this period of rest.
Fri 18. Hannah & Philip – Ghana
Conducted three weeks of an evangelistic campaign in Lentikpa and Kidenge. Thank God for 21 people who came to faith in the Lord Jesus. Weekly discipleship meetings have taken off successfully in three villages. Pray for over 22 people who attend these weekly meetings. Pray for the opening of their understanding and that their rescue from the dominion of darkness to the light of Jesus may be a reality for others to see (i.e., deliverance from alcohol, smoking, idolatry etc.)
Sat 19. Kiki – Benin
Thank God for the conducting of a successful Sunday School Teachers’ training in five cities for about 100 participants. Thank God also for 97 students who received the Lord as their Saviour during Life-skills classes recently conducted in their school.
Sun 20. David – Congo DR
Conducted a seminar for youth leaders in Christian communities on caring for people traumatized by the ongoing massacre around us. Thirty-six youths participated in this seminar. Thank God for 15 people who came to faith in Christ during this and other programs conducted during the quarter. Also thank God for blessing David’s family with a baby boy last month.
Mon 21. Nompumelelo – Eswatini (formerly Swaziland)
She organized an online Child Protection Policy and Safety training. This training is meant to ensure that the ministry avoids the risk of becoming a place of child abuse. It is aimed at sensitizing the community on issues of abuse and helping to resolve them. Pray that participants may implement all that they learned in their ministry.
Tue 22. Bereket – Ethiopia
About 60 High School fellowship leaders participated in the leadership training he conducted during the quarter. He also conducted a street evangelistic outreach in Awassa city. Thank God for bringing 12 people to faith in the Lord Jesus.
Wed 23. Neo – South Africa
He ran a camp for children who have recently lost loved ones to COVID-19. It was a three-day camp aimed at helping them deal with loss and build resilience. Thank God for 45 of the children who came to faith in Christ Jesus during this program.
Thu 24. Zablon – Tanzania
We organized a retreat for volunteers, with the aim of building their capacity to effectively train Sunday school teachers and youth mentors. We had very good moments of prayers and spiritual refreshing. We also evaluated our 2021 programs. Thank God for the success of the training.
Fri 25. Dennis – Uganda
We conducted Zoom classes for children and youths on the Value of Honesty. We conducted three classes and ministered to 118 children and youths. Thank God for 8 participants who received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour through these online outreaches.
Sat 26. Dennis & Janet – Kenya
We met AA, a Muslim woman, while on a door-to-door witnessing. She had been barren for seven years. She sought the help of Muslim imams and voodoo priests, but all were in vain. But finally, she sought the help of a Christian sister who prayed for her. To God’s glory, nine months after, she gave birth to a baby boy. She invited us to visit regularly to teach and pray for her. We thank God for raising a woman of peace for us in this village.
Sun 27. Misanelle – Congo Brazzaville
She reports they shared the Gospel message with secondary and post-secondary students through the small group Bible study which meets twice a week. We encourage each student to invite a colleague to come along to subsequent meetings. Pray that many of these students may fully grasp the message of the Gospel and turn their lives over to the Lord.
Mon 28. Naomi – Zambia
During my one-on-one evangelistic visit to the School of Nursing, I met Diane and her fellow student nurse. When asked if they are born again, they responded that they did not understand what I meant so I shared the Gospel message with them from Romans. Thank God that both girls prayed to receive Christ and we have since been having regular Bible study to consolidate their faith. Pray that they may be grounded in their faith and become witnesses for the Lord among their friends.
Tue 29. Daniel – Nigeria
He organized Discipleship Training at the College of Health Technology, Mubi in March. An average of 66 students attended the training. Thank God for 23 students who yielded their lives to the Lordship of Jesus Christ during the training. Pray that they will be effectively discipled so they can be true disciples of the Lord Jesus and be dedicated to serving His people.
Wed 30. Sibongele – South Africa
She co-facilitated provincial Student Leadership Training Camp in March. About 80 students from six campuses participated in the training. Thank God for giving them the opportunity to impact the lives of the students and pray that they will be effective leaders in their Bible clubs.
