ASIA REGION

Sat 1. Kiruba – India

We have just started sharing the Good News in Pagalmadu and Vengel. There are no churches in these villages. Thank God for many people who listened as we preached on the streets. Pray for our plan to start a prayer cell in Pagalmadu and provision of a piece of land in Vengel where we hope to build a meeting shed.

Sun 2. Arnold – India

During the past six months, we shared the gospel message in a few villages. Thank God for Matou’s family who came to faith in Christ during our ministry in Kumbi. Also, for three people in Karang and 3 families in Ithing who trusted Christ during 4 days of Gospel meetings we conducted in the two villages. My wife and I engage in counselling ministry and we lead weekly a Children’s Bible class in Kumbi and Karang. Pray for insight and fruitfulness

Mon 3. Tikhatri – India

Thank God for three families who turned to the Lord for salvation in the past quarter – Beng Bahadur Chetri (with their eight children), Ramesh Thaga, and Tul Bahadar. All three families are from strong Hindu backgrounds. Please pray for comfort for our family as we grapple with the loss of our father in October. He suffered kidney failure.

Tue 4. Birachandra – India

Pray for my ministry with the church in Karang Island. Thank God for about 30 people (old and young) who attend Sunday worship services and for over 40 children who regularly participate in the Bible club meetings every Wednesday. Thank God for moving some people to donate good sweaters to keep the children warm during the winter season.

Wed 5. Deepak – India

We recently organized a spiritual camp for people in our village. Thank God for the participation of many villagers and for 18 students who came to faith in the Lord during the camp. Thank God also for opening doors of ministry in a few schools and colleges.

Thu 6. Asif – Pakistan

Organized a children’s rally in Rahim Yar Khan. It was a wonderful and encouraging program. Thank God for over 700 children and 113 teachers from different schools and churches who participated in the rally. Programs included Bible quizzes, art work, Bible reading competitions, and sword drills. Thank God for impacting the lives of all participants; children and teachers.

Fri 7. Dhruba – Nepal

Organized a Vacation Bible School (VBS) camp for children at Kudule of Raxirang Rural Municipality in Makwanpur district. Participants totalled 148 children, mostly from Chepang tribe. Twenty-seven teachers helped the children to study God’s word. One of the children, while thanking God that he could learn about Christ’s death for Him, asked the Lord for grace to share the Good News in places yet to be reached.

Sat 8. Imkum – India

I thank the Lord for giving me the privilege to minister to the beloved saints in the local church. I continue to encourage, train, counsel, and lead them in ministering to the Hindus and Muslims in our community. Thank God also for a member of the fellowship who was baptized recently. Pray that he may remain faithful to the Lord and diligent in his service.

Sun 9. Chaoba - India

I minister alongside my husband in our church leading the Children’s department. Our family is also responsible for the care of the 14 children in the House of Hope orphanage. I usually lead their evening devotions, prepare their meals, and see to their physical and spiritual welfare. Thank God for 10 of the children who were baptized last year. The remaining 4, having confessed Jesus as their Lord, are currently going through counselling and baptismal class.

Mon 10. Devi – Bhutan

I continue to visit hospitals, labor camps, and construction sites. I also share the Good News during visits to homes. Thank God for our barber and his family with two children who have started to come to church. Pray also for my husband who is suffering from gout. Winter months are particularly hard for him.

Tue 11. Baraily – India

As we started to preach the gospel message in one of the villages, some teens stopped us, accusing us of interfering in their religious beliefs. But we thank God for Madams Lamgadi, Laimar, and a few others who accepted Christ’s salvation during ministry in other villages. Pray that God may sustain their faith and intervene in the lives of the disruptive young people.

Wed 12.  Hemchand – India

Conducted Gospel meetings with retreats in four different centers. Thank God for 35 people who came to the saving knowledge of Christ during these meetings. He organized gospel meetings focusing attention on people with disabilities. Of the 250 participants, almost half of them were disabled persons. Thank God for 17 people who dedicated their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thu 13. Gaikhandim – India

He has just inaugurated a Mission’s Department in his local church. Pray that this department will raise awareness among members. Thank God for the opportunity he had to minister and restore a pastor who has served the Lord for 40 years but became angry with God for failing to answer his prayers. God used Gaikhandim’s testimony and message to restore the pastor’s faith.

Pray for Worldlink Home Team member, Pam, who is recovering from recent knee replacement surgery. Ask God to give her minimal pain, endurance, and a full recovery.

AMERICAS REGION

Sat 15. Mildred – Guatemala

Co-facilitated a Vacation Bible School in Iglesia Siloé. About 190 children participated in the camp. Pray that the Lord may deeply enrich their lives as they seek to live out the lessons they learned at the camp.

AFRICA REGION

Sun 16. Joseph – Burkina Faso

Thank God for the opportunity to participate in pastors’ meetings in Koudougou, Kaya and Ouagadougou. He was able to equip them and their wives to train and encourage members of their assemblies to daily meditate on the Bible.

Mon 17. Marie – Congo DR

Co-facilitated three conferences for students, one each for theological students and young girls from the Churches of Christ in the Congo. She led discussions on different practical topics during the conferences. Thank God for blessing her ministry with 57 new believers during the quarter.

Tue 18. Bereket – Ethiopia

Thank God for opportunities to share the gospel in various centers around our region: At three-day revival meeting in Wolayita where we preached and taught on the topic, ‘What is value of life’, at a one-day youth program in Yirgalem, and another three-day campaign in Shelle. All meetings were conducted in partnership with local churches. Pray for them as they follow-up the new believers.

Wed 19. Patrick – Congo DR

Thank God for life-skills clubs inaugurated in a local church with about 20 inaugural young people and at Mabakanga Institute. A choir of 15 students was also installed in the institution. The six youth members of the choir meet with Patrick every Tuesday after class for Bible study. Pray for their steady growth in faith and knowledge of God’s word.

Thu 20. Jackson – Tanzania

Thank God for a successful wedding in December. Pray for God’s blessing on the new home and couple. Jackson organized a camp in Mbala with 12 of the 67 children in attendance receiving Christ as their Savior. Thank God for Ms Romana, the only volunteer teacher who oversees the ministry in Mbala. She conducts regular programs and Bible teachings in this location.

Fri 21. Dickens – Uganda

Stephen testified to having been set free from the bondage of occultism and false teaching during my ministry. He was previously under the complete influence of a false teacher who has taught him to avoid anyone proclaiming Jesus as the Son of God. But the Holy Spirit moved him to come in and listen to the message on that particular day. He received the LORD as his personal Savior and denounced all the false teachings and practices he had previously held dear. Thank God for His deliverance and saving grace.

Sat 22. Richard – Congo DR

Thank God for two days of training organized in Kikwit for supervisors of children and teens in Bible clubs. Participants learned how to properly manage a Bible club. A total of 23 people took part in this training. This was a follow-up of similar training conducted in September for those planning to start new clubs.

Sun 23. Lucas – Tanzania

Every Saturday, a group of Sunday school teachers from different denominations meet in our center for prayer and Bible study. They exchange ideas on the way to improve their ministry. I usually share the word of God with them and encourage them to continue to serve the Lord as children’s ministers. They are generally 40 in number. Thank God for the encouragement they are to each other as they labor in an almost 100% Islamic environment.

Mon 24. Stephen – Yobe, Nigeria

He ministered to over 700 students during visits to Bible clubs in secondary and post-secondary schools. Thank God for 93 students who received the Lord’s salvation. He also co-facilitated a zonal schools rally during a one-day summit of secondary school students in Nguru. Thank God for the impact of God’s word on the lives of all participants.

Tue 25. Patrick - Uganda

Conducted 6 training sessions for 56 Bible club facilitators to equip them to lead youth ministry and small Bible study groups. He also conducted training in leadership, children, and youth ministries for 100 people from two churches, an NGO and a Teachers’ College Fellowship. Pray that these trainings may assist participants to be more effective in their areas of ministry.

“Never Alone” was the theme of the children’s camp organized in December. The teenage camp followed a week later. Participants in the camps totaled about 300. Thank God for 40 of them who responded to the invitation to receive God’s salvation through Christ. During the teenage camp, kids from a children’s home nearby spent a day in the camp. There was so much fun as they all played games, prayed, and ate together.

Thu 27. Brysceson – Tanzania

Conducted one camp each for Grade 10 and Grade 12 school leavers. The focus of the camps was on life after school, so they covered such topics as: the purpose driven life, friendship and courtship, college life and its challenges. Pray that these young people may keep the faith in their future endeavors.

Fri 28. Nestor – Congo DR

Organized training for Sunday school teachers at the Pax Del Evangelical Church. Twenty people took part in the training. Thank God for 30 children who came to faith in Christ after showing a film on the birth of Jesus during the Christmas period.

Sat 29. Cyprian – Sokoto, Nigeria

Facilitated two revival meetings, one in the School of Health Technology, and a joint one for Sokoto city. Two new Bible clubs were inaugurated in with 206 members. Pray that they may all be agents of change in these schools.
