AFRICA REGION
1. Bereket – Ethiopia
In July, I led a team of three brothers on a mission trip to Arbaminch, Konso, Keyafer, Omorate, Koru, and Seremeret. During the trip, we preached the gospel message in each community, visited churches, and prayed for the people. We also had discussion time and counselled many people. Finally, we baptized 42 new believers from Dasenech tribe. This is the work of God and we give all glory to Him.
2. Marie-Therese – Rwanda
Conducted training for Sunday School teachers in three centers. Altogether the trainings equipped 106 teachers for ministry among children. In July, 215 children aged 6 to 10 years participated in the camp she organized. Pray that these children may follow the Lord from their childhood.
3. Emmanuel – Cameroun
Conducted orientation course for new volunteers in Garoua in northern Cameroun in May. He also conducted a refresher training for those who will lead the 11 camps organized from mid-June to mid-August in different localities. He participated in the Garoua camp. Thank God for 41 people who made professions of faith during the training program and as he proclaimed God’s word in churches.
4. Morris – Liberia
He recently lost his 11-year-old son who suffered from a rare problem of an enlarged heart. Please pray for comfort for him and his family and for adequate support around them.
5. Richard – Congo DR
Thirty-two leaders participated in the training program he organized. They were provided broad guidelines on children and youth ministry. Participants included ministry volunteers and the pastor and two deacons of the local church. Thank God for the opportunity to impact the participants’ ministries and for 76 teens who were at the retreat organized in August.
6. Nestor – Congo DR
“I never saw my dad read the Bible. He always does other things when he comes back from his office. When I get back, I'll ask him to start reading the Bible ... " comments of an 8-year old camper, Sylvie, when asked what report she will give at home. Two camps organized, one each for children and teens focused on engaging with the Bible. Thank God for 17 campers who came to faith in the Lord Jesus.
7. Worldlink USA
Please pray for a successful Game Changers event tonight. The Worldlink Home Team and Board of Directors have spent several months planning this inspirational benefit dinner where guests have the opportunity to hear from a Game Changer from across the globe and learn how to become a Game Changer right where they are.
8. Dennis – Uganda
Training was my major activity during this quarter, equipping school teachers and church leaders in discipleship and value education. I facilitated four trainings, three in values education for implementers and one discipleship-focused for trainers. 174 participants attended the trainings. Participants testified that their capacity to lead Bible clubs in schools and teach Biblical values in the classrooms has been enhanced considerably. Thank God for this.
9. Sylvain – Congo DR
We organized two camps directly, one each for 5 to 9 and 10 to 13-year-old children. We also co-facilitated two other camps organized by our partners. We screened a film on Bible engagement at the camps. Thank God for the opportunity He gave us to impact the lives of the children in each camp.
10. Lucas – Tanzania
I have visited more than 30 classes within and outside the town in the past three months to see how the children are doing with the ‘Greatest Journey’ course. Most will complete the course in November. Every child who completes the 12-lesson course will receive a certificate and free New Testament Bible. Please pray that many of the children may come to faith in Christ during this journey which clearly shows them the way of salvation in Christ.
11. Nompumelelo – Eswatini
Seven camps were organized in different regions of the country over the summer. These ministered to over 1000 children and teens from about 60 schools. The 66 students from these camps are part of a total of 416 people who came to faith in Christ during the quarter. Please thank God for His blessings on the ministry.
12. Ezechias – Rwanda
August and September were devoted to evangelistic visits and promotion of Bible reading in 20 schools. A teen camp was also organized by the two groups giving us the opportunity for mutual learning. Thank God also for opportunity to share the word of God in four Sunday worship services.
13. Bryceson – Tanzania
Organized two camps with a total of 63 teens/children in attendance. Focus for the teenagers was on challenges and purpose of life, integrity, friendship, life in the university, and personal devotion. Pray that they may remain faithful to the Lord as they scatter into different higher institutions.
14. Jackson – Tanzania
Cross Talk is a program which helps children reach out to their peers using cross paper. This is helping children gain confidence in sharing the word of God. The training was a major part of the two camps organized in Morogoro and Dar es Salaam. Thank God for more children who have started engaging in one-on-one evangelism following this training.
15. Joseph – Burkina Faso
While being treated for a knee problem, his wife was prescribed an overdose of steroid. This dangerously raised her blood-sugar level and she suffered serious insomnia. She could not sleep for three weeks before her doctor was able to resolve the problem. Thank God for His intervention.
ASIA REGION
16. Anonymous – East Asia
Praise the Lord for the opening of KT and KB Children Coaching Centers in WG area at the beginning of June. Pray for R and M, two teenagers who have joined the KB coaching program in PD and two others who are now serving in the youth camp at CP Guesthouse.
17. Amber – Bhutan
A sick Buddhist man had tried the hospital and visited many witchdoctors without success. After we prayed for him, he started feeling better, but his relatives came and forcefully took him away. They have also warned against any visits by me. Please pray that God’s Spirit may intervene in his situation, grant him full recovery, and draw him and his relatives to Himself.
18. Manori – Sri Lanka
Visited five schools, some of these on a weekly basis. She also conducted a weekend camp for children in Vavuniya and co-facilitated an outreach to about 100 children in a church in Gonawala. Thank God for the seeds that were sown during these programs. Pray that they may yield abundant fruits in the children’s lives.
19. Andrha – India
I continue to serve the Lord in Mahadevapuram and Tiruvur, an area with 10,000 people and many radical Hindus. Please pray for these villages. Thank God for about 160 people who heard the gospel message in the past quarter, for 2 people who were baptized and 2 others who are ready for baptism. We currently have two cell groups and 3 churches while 3 people are going through discipleship class.
20. D Paul Raj – India
Thank God for the harvest of four souls as he shared the gospel message during different meetings in Thanda and other villages, ministry in Sunday school, and youth retreat. One of the four, Sunderam, 45, was a drunkard and received the Lord’s touch during one of the meetings, confessed his sins and embraced the Lord’s salvation.
21. Asif – Pakistan
We were able to conduct school assemblies in 45 schools in different cities of Pakistan. Besides this we also visited 3 hostels in Lahore and Sialkot. During these visits, we taught Bible lessons on the Christian faith and put special emphasis on coping with the present situation in the modern world. Pray that the Lord may continue to touch the lives of the children in these institutions.
22. Johnson – India
Organized a special prayer and fasting meeting in Vedda Cheruvu village where he also conducted house-to-house visitation and open-air gospel meetings. Thank God for the single soul, Babu, who came to faith in Christ. Pray for God’s blessings on the weekly Wednesday Bible study.
23. Moody – India
After many years of marriage without a child, Charpa and his wife sought for prayers. God answered their prayer and his wife gave birth to a baby boy. They are now followers of the Lord Jesus and actively participate in regular church worship. Pray that the Lord may keep watch over the child and help them remain faithful to Him.
24. Chacko & Lali - India
God helped us to start a new outstation work in Choyyomkod and we have started conducting services there. Ministering in the outstation has challenged us to engage in sharing the gospel from door-to-door in the surrounding areas. Some people have shown interest in coming for worship but due to many reasons, they are unable to do that yet. We ask for your earnest and continuous prayers for the ministry here.
25. Dinesh – India
Sashank and her husband from a Hindu family recently came to our church. Sashank has suffered much from bad dreams, having been taunted and tortured with psychological depression. She was full of fear. The couple came with so many threads of Hinduism. But when they heard God’s word, their hearts were touched, and God helped both to come to faith. Please support them in prayers. They have been regulars at church and are growing in their faith.
26. Manirao – India
The Lord continues to bless our ministry in Gopalapuram and nearby villages. Our message reached over 800 people during the past quarter resulting in the baptism of seven people. Please pray for ten others who have completed their baptismal classes. Pray that they all may be effective bearers of the gospel message to the community.
27. Edvin – India
Thank God for recently drawing Rajkumar family and Juli to Himself. Rajkumar was delivered by the Lord from the evil spirits’ torment and serious ill health. Juli, who like Rajkumar, is from a Hindu background, conceived after we prayed for her. They are both now regularly attending church.
28. Banwarilal – India
Little Samir was admitted into the hospital for bleeding from the nose and mouth. The family incurred a 40,000 rupees ($565) expense. After 15 days treatment without success, he was discharged. Somebody invited me to pray for the child and by God’s grace, his healing started soon after. He has now fully recovered. Following this miracle, Priya and her three family members accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and are now coming to Church. Thank God for His intervention in their lives.
29. John – India
He is thanking God for enabling him to share the gospel message in Kothuru and the surrounding villages and organizing a fruitful women’s conference.
30. Saranya – India
I continue to share the gospel in Vambey Colony, Devinagar, Satyanarayana Puram, and Pedapalaparru villages. Many of the residents are Hindu radicals and high caste. They can be very proud and hard-hearted. Please continue to pray for wisdom and fruitful ministry among them. By God’s grace and through your prayers, we will reach out effectively to the people.
