In our city, diamond mining has been liberalized. Many children no longer want to study; They prefer to go to the mines, leading to various consequences (exploitation of children, prostitution, drugs, alcohol, theft, etc.). The work we do among children is very complex in this context. Thank God for enabling us to make tangible difference in the lives of the children. We continue to receive testimonies from many parents of the positive changes they notice in their children. Thank God for 18 children who came to Christ during the quarter.

After a long winter break, we were excited to restart our Bible clubs and ministry activities. We are happy to see kids attend our Bible clubs regularly. We were especially moved by a Hindu child from The Long Market Girls School who attends the group regularly. She joins in discussions and asks questions. We hope she continues to come and pray that the seeds we plant in her heart will soon bear fruit.
Over the past three months, we had the exciting opportunity to start a Bible club at Etham College, following a successful mission week. The group has consistently attracted around 30 young people each week. Pray for fruitful ministry to the children in this school.

We continue to follow up on OIR. Thank God for the spiritual and social transformation he is experiencing. He has taken a bold step of coming to our house at least twice a month. We have been praying and sharing Bible stories with him. He has completely stopped taking drugs or any substance. Despite his family’s opposition, he sometimes comes to church on Sundays. Pray for God-directed and effective follow-up of those Muslim Background Believers (MBBs) who returned to their Muslim faith because of threats from their leaders.

Muvanthan, 25, a drunkard and idol worshiper, was also possessed by an evil spirit. His wife brought him to the church for prayers. We asked him to confess that Jesus can save him. We shared the gospel with about 300 people during the quarter and thank the Lord for 11 people who accepted him as their Savior. We seize every opportunity during our visit to members’ homes to share the gospel with unbelievers who join our fellowship.
Please pray for the upcoming Easter event on 20 April.

I used to share the gospel with MD, a 27-year-old man in our village. Each time I invited him to our church, he rejected the invitation. However, a few months ago he had an accident and was taken to hospital. He asked his parents to call the pastor to pray for him. I went and prayed for him and invited him to church again. After a week, he showed up and has regularly attended service with his wife. Please pray that as they fellowship with us, the Lord may open their hearts to receive him as Lord and Savior.

As I was praying for where next to focus our ministry, God clearly led me to new villages in two states. I am now concentrating on reaching these new areas. We hold prayer meetings and conduct outreach programs, which include distributing Bible tracts. Please continue to pray for our mission. In the past quarter, three hundred people heard the gospel. We praise the Lord for 10 people who accepted Christ as their Savior and 7 people baptized.
Sun 20. Kham - Laos
In the last three months, we have seen our cell group expand as we share the gospel message with unbelievers during group and one-on-one ministrations. Enthusiasm among our members for true fellowship has also grown. Even those who live very far from the church do not miss our fellowship meetings. Pray that we may all continue to serve the Lord faithfully and see more souls repent of their sins and turn to the Lord for salvation.
Mon 21. Singh - India
Since we are not allowed to share the Gospel publicly after the destruction and burning of all the churches and fellowship meeting halls, we have focused on sharing the Gospel one-on-one. At the same time, I continue to encourage believers who were affected by the conflict in our state. While praying and trusting the Lord to again open the door to freely worship Him inside our church, we currently gather to worship in my house. Please pray that we may all remain strong and courageous.
Tue 22. Kho - Myanmar
Kyaw, the husband of one of our church members, has been married for 10 years. Despite my preaching the gospel to him for four years, he refused to become a follower of Jesus Christ. However, he recently told me that he has surrendered to Jesus Christ. I baptized him recently, and he has become a member of our church. He testified to the peace he now enjoys. Thank God for his salvation, and please pray for our follow-up program so that he may be well-grounded in the faith.
Wed 23. Banwari - India
Thank God for completely healing Sister Saroj from cancer. Her testimony is a witness among the people in the surrounding villages that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. In the past six months in Tripura, we have planted two churches and opened four preaching centers. We are also training church members of 31 churches that aspire to become autonomous congregations. Our missionaries in Tripura continue to reach out to unreached people, with a strong focus on disciple-making. Thank God that this is yielding good fruit.

My goal for the next three months is to grow the capacity of our core ministry leaders. I also want to inspire and encourage cell group members to learn to preach the gospel to their neighbors and other villagers. Please pray for an effective mentoring process. Thank God also for some members who are being prepared for baptism. Pray that each candidate may be well-grounded in the faith through what we teach them.

Spandana, a mother of three children, and her husband used to quarrel quite often. She would go to her mother's home after such quarrels and remain there for several months. After personal counseling and prayers on how marriage and family are intended to be according to God’s Word, she received hope and faith. She now comes to church and is living happily with her husband. We praise the Lord for intervening in their situation. Please pray that her husband may also come to faith.

It took Ms Somphone about 10 months to decide to join our church with her granddaughter. Since then, we have tried to expound the truth of God’s Word to her. Thank God, she finally accepted Jesus Christ on 2nd February and has now joined the Sunday fellowship fully. Pray that her faith in Christ may grow steadily to God’s glory.

Thank the Lord for opening the door, after several months of deliberation, to impact a second MBB (Muslim Background Believer) network among the most radical Muslims ever to be reached. The network grew from six to seven discipleship groups. Please pray for AR and CHN, who have both emerged as strong lay leaders of our church planting ministry.
Tue 29. Cho - Myanmar
In the last three months, I conducted a Bible seminar for unbelievers, evangelized from house to house, prayed for the sick, and gave rice to needy families. KM was born into a Christian family but did not understand the true meaning of salvation in Christ. The Lord touched his heart when I explained the gospel message to him. His testimony is, “I am so happy that I am saved now. I am very sure that I will go to heaven when I die.” Thank God for revealing Himself to KM and for the four people we baptized during this period.

Cheata has been separated from her mother for the past year. Our family temporarily provided a space for her to stay. Since then, she has asked many questions about spirituality and God. Finally, she decided to put her faith in Christ, and her life was completely transformed. She gave up idol worship, seeking psychics and witch doctors, and turned from Confucianism. She now loves God, regularly joins worship, and is serving in the church. Thank God for revealing Himself to her. Please pray for her steady growth in faith.
