AFRICA REGION

Sat 1. Sali & Delphine – Cameroon

Thank God for 15 people who recently responded to the Gospel message proclaimed in Dolla and were baptized in February. All of them are students at the secondary school in the town. However, the persecution started for all but two of them immediately after their baptism. They were sent away from their homes and their parents stopped the payment of school fees. Some of them currently sleep in the church and others now stay with friends. Please pray for the grace to hold on to their faith, for wisdom for Sali as he helps them navigate the troubled waters, and for the provision of their needs.

Sun 2. Stephen – Abuja, Nigeria

Preached at two zonal conferences (Nigeria has 6 geopolitical zones) in Kontagora and Kuje Zones in November reaching 879 youths through both conferences. He also visited and ministered in three secondary schools in Kuje and Kwali Zones. Thank God for the 531 students who heard the Gospel message during the visits and for the 607 students who made decisions for the Lord during these ministry events.

Mon 3. Hannah & Philip – Ghana

Yakubu is a security man at the Department of Highways in Salaga. We met him during our Christmas outreach in Yelwa. He readily responded to the Gospel message we shared with him and invited Jesus to be his Lord and Savior. More so, we were excited when Yakubu told us he listens to our Sunday Gospel broadcast on Kanyiti FM regularly. In effect, we were only harvesting the seed that was already sown through our radio program. Thank God for the impact of his word both on radio and one-on-one.

Outreach in Kabache - Ghana

Tue 4. Tivakudze – Zimbabwe

During our walk-up evangelism, I met Elisha. He is from the cultic Zionist Church and claims to be a prophet. It was interesting to engage with someone so eager to foretell my future. We could not agree because he had no regard for the Bible. After allowing him to explain what he believes, I had the opportunity to introduce and share the Gospel message with him. Thank God that he started to slowly understand salvation. He gladly accepted the Bible, I gave him, and I have scheduled weekly Bible reading meetings with him. Pray that he may soon come to faith in the Savior.

Wed 5. Albino – Adamawa, Nigeria

Visited and shared God’s word with Bible club members in four schools. About 450 students received the Word of the Lord during the visits. Sa’adatu College of Health Technology, one of the schools visited, was established by a Muslim three years ago. Thank God for opening the door of ministry as soon as some Christian students were admitted there. There were only 18 students at this meeting. Pray for effective witness of this little flock of believers in the school.

Student Service - Mubi, Nigeria

Thu 6. Nelito & Amelia -Mozambique

We are still facing the challenge of restriction placed on our ministry because of false accusations leveled against us. Therefore, we are very much limited in the ministry we can carry out. Albeit we organized prayer and deliverance sessions and discipleship class. We limit the groups to only a few people to avoid arrest. Please continue to pray for release from restrictions so we can do our normal ministry again. Thank God for CA who had been suffering from many spiritual problems. After she accepted Christ as her Savior and we prayed for her deliverance, she experienced peace. Besides, she handed over the amulets she had trusted, which we destroyed.

Fri 7. Abiola & Tunrayo – Tchad

We visited Mahmout, the seeker who has been asking many questions about the Christian faith. He is really growing, continues to read the Bible, and is very passionate about learning more. Pray that the Lord may continue His work in his life and give us the wisdom to respond adequately to his questions. We pray he may soon receive Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

Sat 8. Adedotun – Benue, Nigeria

KE’s testimony, “I lost my mom when I was 4, and I moved in with my aunt. When I was 10, my father brought me home to stay with him. Painfully, my father started abusing me sexually until I was 16. This hurt me so much. Thank God for counseling sessions that brought healing. God is gradually restoring me and helping me to stand again.” Thank God for her and others who, during the Trauma Healing Program, experienced healing from the pain of the loss of loved ones and rape that happened many years ago.

Sun 09. Worldlink USA

He is risen, He is risen indeed! Happy Resurrection Sunday to you, our Prayer Warriors, and your families. As we celebrate and reflect upon the empty tomb today, we praise God for our new Brothers and Sisters in Christ that are celebrating this joyous holiday for the first time as Believers in the Risen Savior.

Mon 10. Leonel & Ana-Maria – Mozambique

Thank God for 16 people who came to faith in our Lord during our ministry activities in the past quarter. We plan to reach out to new zones in the coming month. Please pray for a rich harvest as we share the Gospel message both one-on-one and through the Jesus Film.

Tue 11. Emmanuel – Borno, Nigeria

Thank God for the impact of our mentoring ministry on the youths. We rejoice as some of them continue to show signs of maturity and commitment to the Lord. I was surprised when one of them, a former member of our group in Bauchi State, called and sent some money to buy Bibles to give to those who need them. Pray for more of such signs of dedication to the Lord and His mission.

Wed 12. Dennis & Janet – Kenya

AA, a young man, was depressed and oppressed by demons. He could walk all night without sleeping. His mother was frustrated with his state and called us to pray for him. After three days of prayer, the Lord delivered the young man completely. Now, he has gone back home to be with his mother. Thank God for his deliverance.

Thu 13. Wezzy – Zambia

Between September and December, he visited six colleges and engaged in about 40 different ministry sessions with the Christian Fellowships. He also co-facilitated evangelism outreaches with two Campus Fellowships, sharing the Gospel message with over 100 students. Thank God for 10 students who came to faith in Jesus Christ.

Leadership Training Participants-Zambia

Fri 14. Irmiya – Yobe, Nigeria

Gift James use to be a brilliant, zealous student and was involved in prayers for those who were being tormented by the devil. Her story changed when she herself experienced the attack of the evil one. She suddenly lost interest in her studies and was unable to understand whatever she reads. She, however, had an encounter with Jesus Christ during our December conference. She was transformed and now can comprehend whatever she reads. Praise the Lord for freeing her from the torment of the devil.

Sat 15. Henry & Evelyn – Kenya

In the last three months, we engaged in irrigation farming because of the short rain period. We planted green grams. Right now, our people are harvesting the little they planted reducing the pain of famine for a while. Farming has been an effective ministry tool as it brings us much closer to the people making sharing the Gospel less challenging. Thank God for 59 people who heard the Gospel message. Pray that the message may bear abundant fruit in the lives of all who heard it.

Sun 16. Matano & Juddie – Kenya

The progress that Osman, one of our converts and a former student in Adhama, has made in his Christian growth, his knowledge and intimacy with God, has been amazing. He is now in 12th grade and was appointed the head student of the school. Recently the Bible Translation League (BTL) invited him to join the team translating the Bible into his mother tongue. The report from BTL is highly positive. We really thank God for him. Thank you for your continued prayers for him.

ASIA REGION

Mon 17. Dhan – Bhutan

After the COVID pandemic, many people are willing to accept the Lord, but their communities are against such decisions. More so, the government has expressed his strong opposition to any religious conversion. Despite opposition, 10 people accepted the Lord recently, but they are still living in their old ways. I am visiting them regularly to encourage them. Pray for grace to stand firm in the faith and “produce fruit in keeping with repentance.”

Tue 18. Phy - Cambodia

Of the 1,150 people who heard the Gospel message in the past quarter, thank God for 150 who came to faith in Jesus. Thank God also for the love of God they now exhibit. They help each other, pray for one another, and take care of others. One of the many who accepted Christ is a widow, aged 35, who takes care of her child and elderly mother. She has suffered intense persecution but has stood strong and joined our service weekly.

Wed 19. Arjun – Nepal

I thank God for seven people who, in the last six months, were baptized. There was also an excellent opportunity to share the Gospel with my relatives during Christmas. Pray that they may soon come to faith in our Lord.

Affordable Baptistry - Nepal

Thu 20. Jav - Cambodia

Through the ministry I was able to train 12 leaders, encouraging them to plant churches. I plan to raise new believers to serve in the ministry and send them out. God has answered my prayers for wisdom on how to assign roles and delegate, giving me a goal for the church planting ministry. I am praying for more leadership resources. Thank God for three new believers resulting from my direct preaching of the Gospel message.

Fri 21. RS – India

Please pray earnestly for the brethren in M where I minister in an underground church. Many have been killed for their faith. Eight believers have been forced to reconvert to Hindu religion. Some are banished from their village and others are languishing in jail. Pray for grace to remain faithful under extreme persecution.

Sat 22. Missionary M – Vietnam

We organized one mission and charity program in B province ministering to the X and Y people. We ministered where no one has heard the Gospel before. We connect with them, get to know them, and inform them that our charity work is an extension of Christ’s love for them. We thank God for two who came to faith in Jesus Christ.

Sun 23. Vishnu – India

Pray for my mother who continues to tell all kinds of false stories about me and my wife to discourage believers, especially new believers. Pray for God’s touch upon her life. Thank God for the miraculous healing of Brizlal from serious stomach trouble and Chotu who was in a coma for six days but was restored.

Mon 24. Dorson – India

I visited eleven churches to encourage them to get involved in pioneer evangelism and church planting. Thank God for L. Reang who responded to my appeal for more people to go into the mission field. He hopes to join MTC next year. Thank God also for the success of the open-air services I conducted in two locations.

Tue 25. Dhruba – Nepal

Radhika, her husband and three children nearly died of charcoal fume. They all slept in their rented room with the door and window closed. They were saved when a visitor knocked at the door and her husband barely managed to open the door before collapsing. It took all five a full hour to come back to life. Being new believers, the landlord thought the incident happened because they forsook their family god, so he asked them to vacate their room unless they stop going to church. This incident disturbed Radhika for two weeks but on the third Saturday she came back to the church with her three children. Her husband Chandra is still struggling. Thank God for saving the life of the family. Pray for grace to remain steadfast in the faith.

Wed 26. Bretlee – India

I fell and broke my arm last year. I could not pay for surgery. I depended wholly on God for healing, and he healed me. God also protected my mother from imminent death when a big stone nearly fell on her. I shared these and other miracles and blessings I have received from the Lord with my unbeliever friend, Utham. As a result, he is interested in coming to Missionary Training Center for training. Pray that he will first make a clear decision for Christ, and then, become his servant.

Thu 27. Vijaykumar – India

Organized Gospel meetings in Sivapulam, Venkatapulam, and Parvitapulam villages and regular Cottage prayer and fasting meetings. Thank God for bringing two people to faith in him. One of them is Srivinas of Venkatapulam village. I have shared the Gospel with him on many occasions, but he did not respond to my messages. However, he called recently and willingly accepted Christ. Now he is growing steadily and participates in all spiritual meetings. Thank God for the work of the Holy Spirit in his life.

Fri 28. Esther – Vietnam

At a youth camp I organized some years ago, we asked a man to oversee our sound system. He handled the task enthusiastically and with great interest. We shared the Gospel with him personally and my brother had the great privilege of leading him to Christ, then his wife, Dien, and their two children. It was so beautiful and heart-warming for me to see Dien leading the worship during a recent church event. We can never imagine how far the power of the Gospel can go.

Dien leading worship – Vietnam

Sat 29. EIM – India

Pray for Missionary Pramod’s church in Jharkhand. A few radicals came into their prayer hall after Sunday worship and harassed the believers. Pray that their Sunday gatherings would not be disrupted in any manner. Pray that the missionaries there may stand strong in the midst of persecution.

Sun 30. Anonymous – East Asia

Gerry, 50, is a scavenger boss and former prisoner. He easily gets angry and finds it hard to just smile. After encountering Jesus through the ministry of our field worker, he changed completely. He’s now gentle and his life-changing experience has driven him to reach out to others around him. People marvel at how much he has changed. Gerry leads a House Church of seven adults in his house. Recently, we held an MBB retreat where Gerry met Gusty, his prison mate who also is an MBB. They both simply praised God and rejoiced together. Thank God for his great salvation.
