We conducted an evangelistic mission in the last three months. During the intensive outreach in three regions, we shared the gospel with all the students and teachers in 2,021 schools. The past quarter provided a window of ministry opportunity between Covid-19’s first and second waves. Some schools and their Bible clubs reopened giving the opportunity to visit 8 Bible clubs and minister to over 3,000 students. The Lord helped us harvest 312 souls into His kingdom for which we give thanks. Pray also for over 400 students who rededicated their lives to the Lord.
Wed 3. Nestor – Congo DR
Conducted training for 31 Sunday School teachers to help them minister effectively in the lockdown situation. The next set of vulnerable girls have started their training at our BAMATU Centre. Covid-19 delayed their resumption, and the second wave is likely to again affect their program. Please pray that the girls will settle in and have a touch of the God’s Spirit during their one-year training. [NOTE: The BAMATU Centre rescues girls from prostitution in the mine communities and gives physical, spiritual, emotional relief and vocational and educational training.]

Pray that the other three couples may also make good progress in the coming weeks.
Sun 14. Patrick – Congo DR
Due to electrical fault in the adjacent house, his house was totally burnt down towards the end of 2020. His family lost their property completely and have had to move in with his parents. Thank God for keeping the family safe. Citing James 1:2, his response, “The Lord Jesus taught me in this situation that life is better than goods (property).” Neither property insurance nor government aid is known to people of Congo. The neighbor, who would normally be expected to help rebuild since his home caused the fire, has fled the area. Adding “insult to injury,” in the confusing rush of people who arrived to “help,” some despicable people made off with many of the family’s meager possessions as the fire spread. Pray for their comfort and the Lord’s next steps.
Mon 15. Mzwabantu – South Africa
Conducted life skills lessons in three schools where he sought to equip the youth to live healthily. During the sessions, they dealt with issues such as substance abuse, gender-based violence, self-esteem, and values from a Biblical worldview. He also addressed a school assembly. Altogether, he ministered to almost 4,000 children during the quarter. Thank God for 175 children who placed their faith in the Lord Jesus.
