ASIA REGION

Wed 1. D. Paul Raj – India

Thank God for four people who responded positively to the gospel message proclaimed in six villages. One of the four is Srinivasa from Thanda village whom the Lord also delivered from drunkenness. He is now a happy person, reading his Bible and growing in the Lord.

Thu 2. Paulson – India

Proclaimed the gospel message in the streets of Pudur. About 100 heard the gospel message. A family responded to the message and has joined the church fellowship. Two other respondents are ready for baptism. Thank God for these fruits and pray for a young man who has gone away from God and the church fellowship. Pray for his restoration. Thank God for provision of a piece of land. Pray for funds to develop it.

Fri 3. Tshoki – Bhutan

Our ministry has focused on Gedu, Tala, and Pakshina villages. Thank God for two people who started coming to church. Pray for their salvation. Government officials are becoming very strict with Christian activities. They visited us recently and asked how many are coming to church and who is leading the fellowship. Please pray for God’s protection and wisdom for the team.

Sat 4. K. Johnson – India

Rajesh was an idolater from childhood. On the surface he appeared to be a successful man, but his life was riddled with fear and lack of peace. The Lord touched his heart as he listened to the truth of the gospel we proclaimed. He responded in faith and is now enjoying the peace only the Lord can give. Pray that the Lord may keep him faithful.

Sun 5. Ram Babu – India

During our gospel outreach in Mangabhigutta, Vade received the Lord as savior of his life. He had kidney problems, but we prayed for his healing and the Lord answered our prayers. Praise the Lord for this miracle. Pray also that he may continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of the savior.

Mon 6. Dhruba – Nepal

My cousin who lives near us was never interested in things of God. But recently he started attending our church services. He has done that regularly in the past two months. I can see some changes in the way he lives. Please pray that he may soon come to faith in the Lord Jesus.

Tue 7. Krupamma – India

Thank God for a new worship center started in Rachacla village. Pray for the growth of the fellowship. Thank God for blessing two sisters in the fellowship with new babies.

Wed 8. Kashinath – Indi

He proclaimed the gospel message in five villages during the quarter. While proclaiming the message some people came to attack him, but the Lord delivered him from them. Thank God for many who listened to his message, for two families that came to faith in Jesus Christ and all the members of a family that were baptized.

Thu 9. T. Daniel – India

Gummudi Suresh was a great opponent of the church. He openly criticized our messages. In a miraculous way, God led him to acknowledge Jesus Christ as God and the One who saves people from their sin. He received Him as his personal savior and is now an active member of the church he once vilified. Praise the Lord for His intervention in Gummudi’s life. 

Fri 10. Anonymous – East Asia

In 2019 one of our disciples, UG, told us that he no longer wants to be discipled as he would be working somewhere far away. We tried to connect with him on phone, but he does not want to reconnect with us. Please join us to pray that UG may return to the Lord. Praise the Lord that our other disciple, SG, continues to grow in his faith and has the courage to share the Good News with his family and friends. He has made a disciple, SM, who is also actively sharing the Good News with his family, friends, and acquaintances.

Sat 11. Vijaya – India

I shared the gospel message with Sivapuram on many occasions, but he just did not understand the concept of salvation. However, God in His own way and at His own time opened his heart to understand. He came forward in repentance to receive the Lord as his savior. Indeed, conviction is not by our effort but the work of the Holy Spirit. Thank God for drawing Sivapuram to Himself. 

Sun 12. T Moody – India

We are running Sunday School ministry in two villages. There are about 30 children in each group. Pray for grace to build up the faith of these little ones. Thank God for opening the door of ministry in a new village. Pray for God’s blessings on this new field.

Mon 13. Jitendra – India

By God’s grace, I was able to share the Gospel message with Sampath, a radical Hindu who had persecuted me on several occasions. For a whole night, I sat with him and testified to the love of God and the importance of redemption. Thank God for touching his heart and leading him to accept Christ’s salvation.

Tue 14. John Mark – India

Conducted gospel meetings in five villages including Jaggaram where he also organized a conference. Of about 125 people who heard the message of the gospel during these programs, thank God for three people who came to faith in the Lord.

Wed 15. Worldlink USA

750! We plan to grow our team of indigenous missionary partners to 750 in the next 12 months. In order to support all of these servants of God, their families, our Home Team in the US and UK and all expenses we will need to raise $922,347 this year. Pray that God will move his people to join together and make this happen.   

AFRICA REGION

Thu 16. Olusola – Kaduna, Nigeria

Organized a Bible Quiz aimed at encouraging participants to engage with the Bible in a more deliberate way. Pray that the 210 participants may grow deeper in their knowledge of God’s word. At a three-day leadership training, attention was also given to the importance of personal quiet time in a Christian leader’s life.

Fri 17. Yeremiah & Claudia – Tanzania

My wife fell and broke her leg. Thank God for healing her after a period. In the past three months we shared the gospel message with 40 people through one-on-one evangelism every Friday. We also baptized two people who believed in Jesus Christ during the Easter celebrations. Thank God for His blessings upon our ministry.

Sat 18. Anastacia – Mozambique/Kenya

She continues her training in the School of Mission in Kenya. Her testimony: I prayed for shoes to protect me from cold. I went to the shop and saw the shoes at 3000 Shillings ($15), an amount I could not afford. Few days after, a family came to visit the students and brought some gifts. One of the items were the shoes I had always wanted. Thank God for taking care of my need.

Sun 19. Hellen & Wycliffe – Kenya

Conducted Discipleship Making Training at Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences Mwanza, Tanzania. Two hundred medical students attended the three-day training. They have begun reaching out and making disciples on and off campus. We trust God for a student movement that will affect the 85 least/unreached tribes in Tanzania.

Mon 20. Ezekiel – Plateau, Nigeria

Was able to organize 20 of the 75 outreaches planned for the quarter before the COVID19 lockdown. The outreaches ministered to 4,346 people. Thank God for 575 people who came to faith in the Lord Jesus during these outreaches.

Tue 21. Patrick & Violet – Kenya

We trained a team of 10 professionals in southern Tanzania to reach out to the local tribes using their work as access/bridges. These formed a team that is actively reaching out to their colleagues. One of the trainees has already reached out to ten families and another to six individuals. Thank God for the impact of the training on the participants.

Wed 22. Yinka – Nigeria

Thank God for the growth of my discipleship class to 16 girls. I discovered that one of them who joined the group in January had a lot of things bottled up. Thank God, she is gradually responding, and she is gradually becoming radiant and feeling much better. Please pray that she may keep up in the spirit especially during this lockdown.

Early in March, I cofacilitated a student conference during which I conducted a number of seminars on sexual purity in relationships among teens. I discovered that many students are struggling in this area. Thank God for some of them who confessed their sins and sought help on how they can change for good. Thank God also for one girl who prayed to receive Christ.

Fri 24. Phumlani – S. Africa

During this lockdown period, I am conducting Zoom training and conversations where I invite different speakers to share with us for an hour each. I am also using the time to reflect, plan and write the following documents: Schools Manual, Child Protection Policy Manual, and training materials. Thank God for the wisdom He continues to give us.

Sat 25. Albino – Yobe, Nigeria

He visited three Bible clubs in early March and preached at the welcome service for new students at Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu. In all the programs, he challenged the students to shine for Christ in their institutions. Thank God for 19 commitments to the Lord during these programs.

Sun 26. Matano & Juddie – Kenya

Thank God for the cooperative efforts of the locals to reduce and flush out the terrorism in the region and for reduced cases of insecurity in the region.  Although persecution is on the rise in the area, the number of secret believers has increased considerably. Mission activities have also intensified.

Mon 27. Johnkessly – Kaduna, Nigeria

He conducted three online programs during the quarter – a seminar on “Coping with the Lockdown Situation” to a group of students, a talk on “Listening like Jesus Christ” and a talk show for Youth Alive group. Thank God for 406 teens who benefitted from these programs. We trust the Lord to impress His word on the hearts of these youth.

Tue 28. Hannah & Philip – Ghana

With COVID19 lockdown and social distancing, we are broadcasting the gospel in the morning and evening (using Chronological Bible Storying) over a horn speaker to the community. We have received testimonies that the broadcast is reaching adjoining villages too! Pray for abundant fruit from these broadcasts.

Wed 29. Misanelle – Congo Brazzaville

During the confinement, we launched an outreach for students in difficulty. We were able to have positive responses we are able to take care of the students who were not able to go home to their parents. Please pray for continuous supply as the lockdown continues.

Thu 30. Tivakudze – Zimbabwe

Africa University is a multicultural University that takes students from across Africa. For many years, engaging students in Bible studies has been very difficult. Landry Mamberi from Democratic Republic of Congo gave us a breakthrough. He attended my church one Sunday morning and through this contact, a thriving Bible study group was born. I am currently taking the group through the book of Luke. Thank God for the breakthrough.

Fri 31. Ezechias – Rwanda

We organized two trainings for 80 Sunday school teachers in churches in Kihere District. After the training we distributed books for discipleship in churches. This will help reach 6,500 children in the District. A series of trainings (5 meetings) was also organized for new teachers in Mount Olive church. Thank God for the opportunity to build the teachers’ capacity and support the ministry to children.
