Every hopeless person in every country deserves access to the Gospel of hope!

Dear Friends,

Noor sat with her head down low and her heart down lower near the drab mud wall of her Pakistani school. Moved by the Holy Spirit, Kiran, a Worldlink partner bringing the hope of Christ in this restricted country, approached her. She quietly asked about her obvious burden.

Noor felt she was not smart which brought her parent’s wrath. She felt she was not popular which brought her peer’s ridicule. And she felt she was not acceptable to the harsh God of her culture which brought her own hopelessness.

It was a divine appointment. Kiran shared with Noor about “the unconditional love of Jesus. The one who loves us even when our grades are low.” On that bench, in the dusty heat, Noor’s hopelessness found hope. Kiran reported, “She embraced the Lord Jesus and her life has since turned around.” For now, Noor will keep her faith quiet on earth. But, at the very moment her faith began, there was a loud party in heaven in her honor.

If you’ve prayed or given to Worldlink, you have my deepest thanks for helping make miracles like this happen 56,908 times this year. Would you help us as we seek to empower another 100 indigenous missionaries like Kiran to reach hurting people for Christ in Pakistan and 35 other countries during our 2018-19 Ministry Year which starts on July 1st?

Our goal is to raise $100,000 in June. To help, a few generous donors have offered to double your special June gift up to $30,000.

In the last year, Worldlink partners have shared the message Noor heard with 814,734 people. And 56,908 hurting people like Noor responded to Jesus’ love by professing new faith in Christ.

Every hopeless person in every country deserves access to the Gospel of hope!

Right now, we have a great opportunity because:

  • We have over 100 indigenous missionaries preparing to launch this year, but awaiting funding
  • We have a matching challenge that will double your gift given in June
  • Persecution and restrictions are on the rise in countries containing the greatest concentration of unreached people, but indigenous missionaries are still willing and able to share Jesus’ Gospel of hope.

Now is the time to wisely invest great commission funds in supporting many more indigenous missionaries like Kiran. Kiran can’t raise funds to support ministry in Pakistan. June is historically our second-largest month of gift income as the Lord fuels us to launch powerfully into our next ministry year. Can you help this year?

Never underestimate the impact of one committed indigenous missionary. Never underestimate the impact of one generous gift to empower them.

For the Unreached,

Jack Nelson

P.S.  Your generous gift by June 30th will be doubled up to $30,000 to empower new indigenous missionaries to reach more unreached people.

Partner With Us During Our $100,000 Year-End Matching Challenge!

Dear Friends,

A friend once told me, “Say what you must, not what you can.” Ok, he told me several times because I am not, by nature, a man of few words. Especially, when communicating something about which I am deeply passionate. But, I am going to try in this note.

Here’s what I must say:

  • God brought unprecedented ministry fruit this year with 86,071 people professing faith in Jesus.
  • We have an unprecedented opportunity to reach more unreached people next year with a goal to add 200 new indigenous missionaries to reach unreached people.
  • A few donors are presenting an unprecedented challenge this month: They will match your Year-End donation dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000.

This is a Game Changer for Worldlink!

A “Game Changer” is one who enters a contest and dramatically alters the predictable outcome. Our 400+ indigenous missionary partners are game changers in 32 countries, bringing the transforming message of Jesus Christ where it has never gone and sharing the love of God in some of the world’s darkest places and with some of the most hurting people.

Western missionary organizations are finding it increasingly difficult to penetrate and serve in closed or hostile countries. A report from India Briefing chronicled that 24,000 NGOs (non-governmental organizations) have lost their license to serve in India alone. The title of an October 13, 2017, article in Mission Network News asks this question: “If Christian Ministries are Kicked Out of India, Who Will Share the Gospel?”

You and I know the answer!

Indigenous Indian missionaries are able, willing and ready to step into the game. They, and hundreds like them in countries around the world, simply need our help.

Would you be a game changer and join us to unleash hundreds of new indigenous missionaries into God's service by giving a prayerful and generous Year-End gift?

Your Fellow Game Changer,

Jack Nelson
President

P.S. This is huge for Worldlink. Bigger than anything we have seen in the 15 years since we started the ministry. If the Lord provides the $100,000 to secure the match, it will set us on a path to reaching exponentially more unreached people! Your Year-End gift will be doubled and reach twice as many.

What's So Good About Good Friday?

On the surface, the events we remember today might lead us to call it Bad Friday or Evil Friday or Despicable, Horrible, Worst-ever Friday. But a deeper dive into the results of the death of Jesus Christ might morph Good Friday into Great Friday or Stupendous, Magnificent, Never-better Friday.

So what were the results of the first Good Friday? A quick Google search or Bible search will lead you to quite a list. It did me. Thanks, Google, for the list… and unlimited thanks, Jesus for the results.
